Samsung Solid State Drive Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't figure out why I was opposed to ordering my new computer with a Solid State Drive instead of a HDD. Perhaps I was leery of the technology. I since replaced the HDD with the Samsung 860 Pro Solid State Drive. Before it to several minutes for the system to boot, now it is almost instantaneous. The overall performance of my system has increased 100 fold. Kudos to Samsung for their continuously innovative products. They made me a believer.

Solid state drive worth it.

the samsung is a reliable fast solid state drive, using them for workspace while editing video really speeds up your workflow and rendering times.

I installed the Samsung 250GB Solid State Drive in my Lenovo desk-top computer. I moved Windows and all my application software to the solid state drive and all of my personal files to the internal disc drive. The disc drive is backed by an external disc drive. The resulting system is much faster. The installation went very smooth, although I had the entire system backed up on an external disk drive incase anything went wrong.

I replaced an old mechanical spinning hard drive with this one and I am really pleased with it. The computer runs faster and there are no problems at all with heat. You can feel the quality of the item right when it comes out of the package. I can't say one bad thing about it. If you are looking for a Solid State Drive upgrade, I highly recommend this one!

It stores so much stuff on it, I've moved some of my really intensive games on here and they run so much faster than before. It was very easy to install as well, and is definitely super durable and made out of high-quality materials. Now that my gaming pc has more storage it is performing so much better! I highly recommend this SSD.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just used this to replace an old hard drive on my old laptop and because it's solid state I was able to breathe new life into a ten year old piece of hardware! Definitely get one if you don't want to upgrade to a new model of laptop just yet! Obviously it's a little small if you wanna use it on a desktop, but it's fine on a laptop

I would recommend the solid state drive to anybody looking for a great and easy way to add more memory to your computer or to your laptop. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this solid state drive as a boot disk for one of my mini pc's. It was a quick and easy install. By putting the OS on the ssd, the pc boots up and starts so much faster than it used to. 120gb isn't a huge amount, nowadays, but it is enough to put most of my regular use programs on and run the peripherals off the external hard drive. I'm currently building a gaming pc and will incorporate ssd boot up in it, for sure.
