Samsung Sound Bar Cinema Audio Settings

This converter creates an audio output from my Samsung TV if, on the TV's sound menu under settings, I select PCM instead of Dolby.

My husband is a Samsung loyal customer and he wanted to add a some speakers to our living room tv. I actually didn’t think we needed these speakers but boy was I mistaken! The sounds that weren’t coming thru with just the tv is really shocking!! We were missing so much and I had no idea! I also like that it doesn’t take up much room for the amount of sound you get from just two speakers! These two Samsung speakers automatically optimize and calibrate to fit your space for the most accurate and clear sound. Scenes are analyzed in real time to pull out the most important audio based on the type of content. The sound bar works perfectly with my Vizio TV. The system settings are integrated into the TV settings menu. Also, you hardly need the sound bar remote because the TV remote controls it nicely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really great unit for the price. Low profile, easy as heck to set up, I think I had it set up and going in less that five minutes. The nice thing about newer TV's with the ARC or eARC function on the HDMI, you don't have to turn on and off and use another remote to control the sound. I plugged my PS3 into the bar, ran the bar to the TV and done. If you have a spare HDMI on the TV already you don't have to worry about it. As for the sound, this guy packs a punch! It's a pretty unassuming unit in size, but you instantly feel the sound quality jump compared to the tv's speakers. Deeper bass, richer sound in general. The bass has settings 1-5 and 1 is plenty for TV but can get ramped up if you want. It has nice bluetooth connectivity so you can play music from your phone if you want too. Get the JBL One app and you can even change the equalizer settings and everything.
