Samsung Sound Plus Soundbar Review

I was a bit skeptical at first as I thought the slimness of this soundbar may not produce good enough sound, however I was pleasantly surprised when I fired up one of the Marvel movies and the sound was pretty good! The subwoofer also did not disappoint, the deep bass was just enough for our living room. I liked the handy remote, and the soundbar sits unobtrusively with our TV and pumps awesome theatrical Dolby Atmos. I would definitely recommend this Soundbar to anyone looking to upgrade their sound system, as it is easily installed and ready to wow you.

As a result, it not only looks great just about anywhere, but sounds much much bigger. After adding this device to my SmartThings app, the Soundbar seamlessly/wirelessly connected to my Samsung OLED TV. The sound quality is amazing, with almost any feature you can think of (i.e. Dolby atmos, voice amplifier and enhancement, adaptive sound, etc.). The bass that the subwoofer provides is spectacular. It truly feels like an immersive theatre experience when watching movies and shows. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a high quality soundbar addition to their home.

Very surprised with the sound, this is just what I needed for my Samsung TV. 4 different choices of sound, love that the subwoofer is wireless that gives me multiple options of where to set it up on my living room. Overall I think this is a great investment. Had a family reunion during Christmas and my son was so excited with the Soundbar it’s just perfect !

Set up was easy connect the cables, power it up and let it go. The sound quality was great for the small space I had it set up in. It fills the entire room with sound, and you can feel the bass from the subwoofer. I would definitely recommend this for small spaces, as it is what I have. I will try to update my review when I move into a larger space.

This soundbar is making movie night a whole new experience. It comes with user friendly set up instructions that and a nice and easy to use remote control. I was wrong. The setup was very easy, and having a Samsung TV it just integrates flawlessly. I will also say that the surround sound is so immersive and amazing. There are so many nuances that you can now detect whether watching a sporting event, movie, or even watching our kids play video games. I feel like the sound in our home is now better than anything I have found in a movie theater, and the subwoofer allows you to feel the experience. This is definitely an upgrade to any entertainment system, and will make you enjoy your family time and entertainment time more. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded my Soundbar from a 7.1.2 Channel bar to the Samsung Q910D 9.1.2 Channel bar, and the upgrade was beyond worth it! This is a fully immersive experience with sound so good that it almost makes it challenging to focus on the screen. The room my TV is in is long and narrow, so not having the sound bounce around and just sound jumbled & loud has always been tricky. The SpaceFit Sound Pro calibration instantly made the sound amazing. I have the Samsung QN85B Neo QLED TV, and it pairs beautifully with this setup. I did find that setting the soundbar up on SmartThings via the TV had a hiccup, but then I just moved to my phone, and it was all dialed in within a minute to two. The back speakers are awesome! I honestly didn’t know I needed them, especially in my room, but there are so many little nuances to shows and movies that these speakers capture to really make you feel like you are in the middle of the entertainment. I think one of my biggest surprises is the balance that the system provides. The adaptive sound feature is incredible. The dialogue track of everything I have watched is crystal clear no matter if it is an intense action scene, the Taylor Swift concert on repeat with my daughter, or a quieter scene. Trust me, you won’t miss a thing. Another added benefit of pairing this soundbar with a Samsung TV is that the profile is perfect. Currently my TV is not wall mounted, so the soundbar sits perfectly in front of my TV without impeding the picture or leaving a gap between the bar and the TV. It provides a very clean design that feels integrated into the room. I have not tested the soundbar on a different brand of TV to verify that the quality when used with a Samsung TV is better, but all I can say is I will never watch TV the same again. This soundbar makes you appreciate your investment in a decent TV.

We considered many options including headphones, but none seemed to fit our needs like a soundbar. We chose the Samsung HW-S80D because the reviews on the sound quality were outstanding, the slim design complements our decor, and the value provided by this Samsung device just pushed us to make this purchase. We have been very pleased with our soundbar. With Samsung,s Voice Amplifier feature dialogue is clear and understandable, music is crisp, and the quality is superb. Surprisingly, this relatively small speaker system can easily fill the room with undistorted sound, thanks to the Spacefit Sound feature. I recommend the Samsung HW-S80D to my family and friends, and I highly recommend it to you.
