Samsung Soundbar Bar Hdmi Arc

this is a major upgrade over my old soundbar. while you will not get the full home theater atmos experience, movies sound impressive. the voice boost feature is great for programs with poor sound mixes, it really works well! The only downside was connecting with my TV which has no HDMI out labeled and you have to go to the manual to find which port is the ARC. Not Polk's fault, just know there is just one HDMI input on the bar, you need a HDMI/ARC port on your TV

The new Arc, my thoughts: The ARC replaces the Soundbar and Soundbase, now with HDMI 2.1 and Dolby Atmos support, but is it worth it? The design of the bar is a matter of taste. I want to have an inconspicuous device which fits perfectly under my TV and Sonos delivers it. Design is not really important for me, like the sound, technic or compatibility Setting up the bar: just connect the bar with your TV at the HDMI (e)Arc port and power socket. The rest is be done by the Sonos App and really an easy setting up. After setup I highly recommend to to the true play, cause with the 3D Sound, also from above, the bar will be perfectly set to your room dimensions, also the height of the ceiling. Sound Experience : The sound of the bar is amazing with Dolby 5.1 and Atmos content! It´s a real masterpiece of engineering. I replaced the Soundbase with this bar and the sound is more fuller and roomfilling than the Base, which is also a real good Sonos product. But the bar is a even better. The bar on it´s own sounds really 3D. I normally use my 5.1 (now with the Bar 7.1.2) with the Sub and two Play 1 as rears (yes, they work perfectly as rears), but for normal TV, I often switch off the Sub and rears. Very often I had to check, if I really switched them off, cause the sound was so rich ans "sub-like" and also the behind channels were hearable without rears. Really Amazing this "virtual Sourround", the Front Stereo feeling was also realistic. I´m really impressed what Sonos constructed there. Neagative: The Bar is missing an HDMI Input which is really bad since most TV don´t have an eARC for uncompressed HD Sound, like blue ray or Apple TV. Dolby Digital+ over internal TV apps work very well and delivering ATMOS

Use the Arc under my Samsung Frame.Can't beat the quality sound this bar produces.Just added the small sub.Wow what a complete system.worth every i pop Emmy.

The Sonos Arc is an amazing, excellent sound bar. I purchased two Sonos Arc sound bars, one for my Family room & the other for our newly built outside Covered California room. I installed them myself and they're easy to install . The excellent sound they produce is excellent in listening to Music, Movies & ect. They look great mounted on each one of our fireplaces. I hug them in between approximately 8" between our Samsung's Led TV's and the fire place. The Samsung LED TV's are a 75" in the family room and a 65" Curve outside in our outdoor California room.

I have the Arc with two Play 1s for surrounds, with a Samsung TV using HDMI. Had the original playbar (black) so visually Arc in white is much better - the shape, curves, all metal design and touch buttons now look great under the TV. Sound from TV (programs and streaming) is really great, and the quality of music is really pleasing. For us it's a upgrade in quality compared to using just TV speakers. Family happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded my Soundbar from a 7.1.2 Channel bar to the Samsung Q910D 9.1.2 Channel bar, and the upgrade was beyond worth it! This is a fully immersive experience with sound so good that it almost makes it challenging to focus on the screen. The room my TV is in is long and narrow, so not having the sound bounce around and just sound jumbled & loud has always been tricky. The SpaceFit Sound Pro calibration instantly made the sound amazing. I have the Samsung QN85B Neo QLED TV, and it pairs beautifully with this setup. I did find that setting the soundbar up on SmartThings via the TV had a hiccup, but then I just moved to my phone, and it was all dialed in within a minute to two. The back speakers are awesome! I honestly didn’t know I needed them, especially in my room, but there are so many little nuances to shows and movies that these speakers capture to really make you feel like you are in the middle of the entertainment. I think one of my biggest surprises is the balance that the system provides. The adaptive sound feature is incredible. The dialogue track of everything I have watched is crystal clear no matter if it is an intense action scene, the Taylor Swift concert on repeat with my daughter, or a quieter scene. Trust me, you won’t miss a thing. Another added benefit of pairing this soundbar with a Samsung TV is that the profile is perfect. Currently my TV is not wall mounted, so the soundbar sits perfectly in front of my TV without impeding the picture or leaving a gap between the bar and the TV. It provides a very clean design that feels integrated into the room. I have not tested the soundbar on a different brand of TV to verify that the quality when used with a Samsung TV is better, but all I can say is I will never watch TV the same again. This soundbar makes you appreciate your investment in a decent TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband was wanting to add a soundbar to our living room TV and I was keen that it would be something that fits in well with the rest of the TV and sound systems already there. Did not want an monstrosity that would be out of place and not fit in well. I am glad to share that the Samsung S700D sound bar he installed is just nice. Slim, slender and a bonus, no dangling wires all over the place. No ugliness, no misfits, just perfect. And the sound it puts out is equally nice and clear. I think it took him about five minutes to set it all up. I was watching the NBA playoffs when he was setting it up and the only interruption was loss of sound and picture for 30 seconds when he set up the sound bar and got it connected to the TV. The black color of the soundbar goes with the black color of the TV and sound system we already have and it just rests nicely under the big screen TV. I would think it would be quite beautiful as a wall mount which we are considering. The shape and size reminds of the Wii sensor bar that we got our kids many years ago. Quite slender and non-intrusive. I am glad that he got this beautiful looking and sounding Samsung bar....just perfect for what we wanted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical of samsung's new slim sound bar with subwoofer but I was pleasantly surprised with how good the sound is. I have/had bose, polk soundbars before but it terms of overall quality as tv soundbar supercedes both brands. Although Bose had better stronger base, I prefer balanced sound and also the voice optimization really helps out with movie dialogues. Surround mode is ver defined. Overall the best soundbar I had so far. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so thrilled that I finally took steps to upgrade my home theatre sound with the Samsung Soundbar S50B. I love my smart TV, but the sound quality on its own is not at all smart. I found myself constantly turning the volume up and down in a battle to find the right level because speaking was too quiet but music and sound effects were way too loud. The Samsung Soundbar has solved that issue immediately with no need for adjustment on my end; the sound as I watch movies, TV, or play video games is well balanced. I also have satellite radio on my TV, and it sounds awesome on the soundbar. Setup was super easy too- I just used the included HDMI cord to plug in to the HDMI/ARC port on my TV, plug in the power cord, and select the source and it was ready to go with no troubleshooting needed. I just love when something works like it's supposed to the first time, and is intuitive. I'm a happy camper!
