Samsung Soundbar Bluetooth Remote App

No problem setting up and using the soundbar or the included remote or connecting to the app and to my cellphone via Bluetooth. The Best sounding soundbar I've ever heard, with True Dolby Atmos and Truespace technology leading the way. Music, movies and gaming sound are fabulous. A really modern looking unit too. A definite recommendation from me.

I’ve been searching for a slim, minimalist soundbar with great sound as a replacement for a somewhat bulky (well known branded) bar that was several years old. I was also looking for a reasonable priced system. This is it. It is also a great looking soundbar. Set up was easy and took less than 20 minutes. Very clean and streamlined! No problem pairing via bluetooth to my non-Samsung television but I decided to use the soundbar via the ARC HDMI. In addition to its sleek profile, the sound quality is crisp and clean, and a huge improvement over my older system. The new soundbar has dramatically improved my home theater experience for watching movies or listening to music. The remote is well made and simple to use but the system can be controlled through Samsung’s app Smart Things. This works very well for me. The subwoofer is kind of big but I knew that before I purchased. One minor negative is not related to the system’s capabilities but to the documentation that came with the system. It basically just instructions for set-up and mounting the soundbar. It’s disappointingly very sparse. There was no spec sheet, feature explanations, or any mention of the app. I went to Samsung.com for more information but still could not find a complete manual for the system. I think this is an area where Samsung can improve. Overall, the S700D is a solid system, sounds great, looks terrific, and it’s easy to use. I am super pleased and I wound buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung S50B soundbar is sleek and compact, with a bold and beautiful sound. This is definitely upgrading our movie night experience! It is perfect in size and with minimal affect to room design. Set up was easy and it comes with a wall mount kit. Easily pairs with our Q-Symphony Samsung TV so it combines the TV speakers with the sound bar speakers! It includes a remote although our Samsung TV remote works on both! If you’ve got a Samsung phone, you can walk right up to the soundbar and tap it on the top to play music directly from your phone! Be sure to turn on the option in the smart things app! The sound is clear, and what we were hoping for as we watch movies, play video games and play music in our home. Ideal for our needs for something compact that still provides quality sound—and without muffling of the dialogue!

Easy to use and does what we need. Since we already have a Samsung television, even the TV remote control keys adjust the soundbar volume! Now we can hear the television over the nearby furnace noise. Also I read that I can expand it to surround sound, though I haven't looked into that yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Opening the box, it comes with a large Samsung Bluetooth sound tower, a handy remote, and power cord to charge and play sound tower. Turning on the sound tower with a touch of a button allows you to choose between usb, Bluetooth, or auxiliary input to share you music. The handy remote can be used to operate the sound tower or operate manually. There is an app that is very easy to use from iOS and android. When playing music, you have several options of extra bass, different eq settings or your own personal eq. It has a built in battery that lasts several hours for long lasting music fun. It even has has a party mode to connect several Samsung sound towers together. I recommend this Bluetooth sound tower to anyone that enjoys music.

Unfortunatly there is no chance to use only one (BlueTooth) Samsung Remote Control for TV and Sonos-System. Any Ideas / Recomendations???
