Samsung Soundbar Connected To Tv And Xfinity Box

The soundbar is so thin compared to the Older Samsung soundbar I was replacing ,with out the back speakers I was worried that it would be missing a ton of power and sound compared to my old soundbar "wow was I wrong". Once the new soundbar was mounted under my Samsung Frame TV I was amazed on how thin it was on the wall. The soundbar connected to the Samsung smartThings app very easy and just needed a quick update. It also sets itself up with the adaptive sound feature and adapts to your room. Once it was updated, I was connected to the tv I turned on StarWars Asoka and my god the sound from the little soundbar just blew me away, with the dolby atoms. With the Q-Symphony option it uses the speakers on my tv at the same time "I think this is only works with Select Samsung tv's" this help fill the room with even more surround sound. The soundbar came with a micro Hdmi to standard Hdmi cable to attach to your tv so nothing extra to buy " this is a great extra" you can also connect the sound bar via bluetooth or your home wireless. Once it was connected to my Wireless network and SmartThings it seamlessly connected to most of the tech in my home and can easily stream music right to it. It also has Alexa built in just had to connect via the Smarthings app it also works with Google home/Apple airplay and chromecast. When I connected to my X box I used the game mode and the sound it creates in the room is a game changer. In my short time with this soundbar I truly have been amazed by it the most difficult part was mounting the bar on the wall and that only to 25 minutes and I just wanted to make sure it was dead center and even on the wall. But just how easy it was to connect to the tv and my other devices and the crazy amount of base and sound that come out of such a small package still is just amazing.

The sound quality fills my living room as if it’s a theater - it’s evident from the first use that the Dolby Atmos sound quality is superior. The setup of the soundbar was quick and seamless, it connected wirelessly to my Samsung TV, which allowed for a clean wireless look on my entertainment stand. Having a Samsung TV paired with this setup allows for utilization of the Q-Symphony feature which up levels the amount of sound that fills the space. Would highly recommend this product paired with a Samsung tv. The subwoofer adds a level of bass that is just right, without distorting any sound. I did experience some issues in connecting the soundbar to the SmartThings app, however I was able to get it connected by manually adding it in. Overall this is a very impressive product for the price point, and I would definitely recommend for anybody looking to add theater like sound in their home with minimal setup and minimal space being utilized in their entertainment center.

I was having HDMI handshake issues with my Samsung TV, Xfinity X1 Box and my Yamaha receiver. I had to turn everything on several times to get all components to work properly. I hooked up the HD Fury in between the cable box and TV and it works perfect each time. This is a great device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been QD-OLED curious since the tech was announced in 2022 and am excited to finally try out a TV with this latest innovation in OLED technology. After opening the box, I was absolutely astonished with the thinness of the TV design. The OneConnect box is a fantastic innovation to move the internals out of the way and make the TV so much lighter and more manageable. The lightness of the TV made wall mounting an absolute breeze. One of the main additions to this year's model is the antiglare technology which does not disappoint or compromise the picture clarity or contrast of the TV. Usually OLEDs struggle in the spring or summer in rooms that get lots of light. It is a gamechanger to leave the blinds open and still be able to see your movie or TV show. The Q-symphony feature that lets the TV pair with a Samsung soundbar really takes the audio and dialogue to the next level. And it actually sounds prettty decent without a soundbar but if you're getting an OLED TV you should absolutely get a soundbar. The solar charging remote is a miracle. More gadgets need this technology and am happy to not have to have to buy batteries for this. The OS is fast and responsive with surprisingly light on ads. The Samsung FAST channels are a great option for casual viewing and the gaming support is impressive. I really do wish Samsung would support Dolby Vision in their TV lineup, especially since their soundbars already support Dolby Vision passthrough. But that's a minor quibble and something I hope they fix with a software update. If you are serious about your home theater experience, this is must-have. We have finally reached a point where OLEDs are as great in bright rooms as they are in dark rooms.

Bought this month to replace a Bose 700 Soundbar, along with a new 77" TV. The soundbar connected to the TV with no issues. The TV remote does it all. Very pleased with it

Out of the box works awesome connected to Xfinity right away and my unifi system connected to it no issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was previously using a standalone soundbar without a subwoofer from a different brand which wasn’t too bad but having the Samsung QN-95B 75” TV and knowing what the built-in TV speakers were capable off I was also missing out on using them until I discovered Q-Symphony that allows the TV Speakers to be used in addition to the soundbar. The Samsung HW-S700D Soundbar was a perfect fit was my living space and served this purpose extremely well. The Soundbar and Subwoofer was super easy to setup. Although wireless capable, I chose to use the HDMI cable provided and it was an instant detection and pairing. My Samsung TV automatically recognized the Q-Symphony compatibility and adjusted the sound accordingly for maximum balance and range. The SpaceFit Sound Pro worked its magic to utilize the position and space and adjust automatically even while watching content in real time. No other setup required. I moved the subwoofer to various positions, and ultimately had it next to the sofa which enhanced the bass and feel. The Soundbar and Subwoofer provide great sound levels with well-balanced Treble, Mid, and Bass levels. The bass was a much-needed addition and gave the overall feel a more realistic vibe specially when watching movies and certainly listen to music. The bar is super slim yet performed extremely well for its form factor. It took up much less space than other soundbars and the overall design is super sleek to blend in with my room decor.

This connected with comsat xfinity with no problem. I had to call them to activate it but it worked right out of the box. No problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought Dec 2022 to go with a new samsung TV. The pair use what's called q symphony which allows all the speakers to be used from both the tv and sound bar to work as one unit. Overall the sound is great not much adjusting needed. Only downside is the soundbar doesn't use eARC just ARC through one port, so everything needs to be connected to the TV then the TV to the soundbar, no optical connection either. It's very long for a soundbar which should fit under a 55" or larger, but the depth is extremely slim compared to the Q800 model that I saw in a retail store. Overall love the soundbar thinking on picking up the matching rear atmos wireless speakers soon to finish it off. If you need alot of connections directly to your soundbar or need a digital display on it, this soundbar is not for you. For everyone else, especially samsung tv owners who can use Q Symphany, want to have a very flush mounting soundbar, the HW-S800B is an excellent purchase, with the option to expand to a full 5.1(2).4 system.
