Samsung Soundbar Has No Sound On Hdmi Port

this is a major upgrade over my old soundbar. while you will not get the full home theater atmos experience, movies sound impressive. the voice boost feature is great for programs with poor sound mixes, it really works well! The only downside was connecting with my TV which has no HDMI out labeled and you have to go to the manual to find which port is the ARC. Not Polk's fault, just know there is just one HDMI input on the bar, you need a HDMI/ARC port on your TV

I love my smart TV, but the sound quality on its own is not at all smart. I found myself constantly turning the volume up and down in a battle to find the right level because speaking was too quiet but music and sound effects were way too loud. The Samsung Soundbar has solved that issue immediately with no need for adjustment on my end; the sound as I watch movies, TV, or play video games is well balanced. I also have satellite radio on my TV, and it sounds awesome on the soundbar. Setup was super easy too- I just used the included HDMI cord to plug in to the HDMI/ARC port on my TV, plug in the power cord, and select the source and it was ready to go with no troubleshooting needed. I just love when something works like it's supposed to the first time, and is intuitive. I'm a happy camper!

I bought this soundbar a few weeks ago and I am very pleased with it. The setup was very easy and simple. I was not able to use the HDMI port on the soundbar due to my tv being a bit older but the optical out was sufficient enough and sounds great. Also, I really like textured finish and the black helps blend in with my tv.

I was a bit skeptical at first as I thought the slimness of this soundbar may not produce good enough sound, however I was pleasantly surprised when I fired up one of the Marvel movies and the sound was pretty good! The subwoofer also did not disappoint, the deep bass was just enough for our living room. I liked the handy remote, and the soundbar sits unobtrusively with our TV and pumps awesome theatrical Dolby Atmos. I would definitely recommend this Soundbar to anyone looking to upgrade their sound system, as it is easily installed and ready to wow you.

I would also like an HDMI port

I found the IOGEAR 4 port HDMI KVMP switch to be very useful and works great with my Samsung Smart Dock! I bought it about 6 months ago and I am very happy with it. The only issue is that because it works off the usb ports for switching between devices, depending on the device, there is an occasional lag. But it never lags when I switch from or to my Samsung smart dock that I connect my Note 3 to.

Used as soundbar for our Samsung TV.

Able to stream from my Sony FS7 via HDMI port out to a PC to Webex. No issues great.

This is perfect for my projector that I own that has an HDMI port much neater looking then trying to use a 6ft HDMI when the laptop is right next to the projector. No more mess and easier to wrap and store away for event setups. The quality is just as good as a more expensive cable. If you need great quality cable but without breaking the bank then this cable is for you!
