Samsung Soundbar Hdmi 2.1 Passthrough

This is the second Vizio soundbar I have bought. First one was a 2.1. This one is the bomb!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so thrilled that I finally took steps to upgrade my home theatre sound with the Samsung Soundbar S50B. I love my smart TV, but the sound quality on its own is not at all smart. I found myself constantly turning the volume up and down in a battle to find the right level because speaking was too quiet but music and sound effects were way too loud. The Samsung Soundbar has solved that issue immediately with no need for adjustment on my end; the sound as I watch movies, TV, or play video games is well balanced. I also have satellite radio on my TV, and it sounds awesome on the soundbar. Setup was super easy too- I just used the included HDMI cord to plug in to the HDMI/ARC port on my TV, plug in the power cord, and select the source and it was ready to go with no troubleshooting needed. I just love when something works like it's supposed to the first time, and is intuitive. I'm a happy camper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have a USB-C connector you're all set. I used this with my laptop and my desktop computers. It fits nicely under the back of the laptop and gives eleven rearward facing ports. I missed having an LED on the dock to indicate that it's powered up, but that's about the only thing missing. Having a passthrough USB-C port to full power charge my iPhone while working is great. I hooked up an external monitor using the HDMI port on the dock and it synced up immediately. With two USB-3 ports, a USB-2 port and the passthrough USB-C port, you're never without a handy USB port. With three video ports (HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA you can easily add multiple monitors. The icing on the cake is the handy SD and microSD card slots and a network connector. I used the network connector to hook the laptop up to wired ethernet CAT6 connection and it worked fine. This is a solidly built aluminum dock with rubber non-slip pads on both the top and bottom. It's quite elegantly and sturdily designed. Well, until there's another new-fangled port on the scene, this dock will take care of all my needs.

Plug and Play with the a6400 for both internal recording and passthrough via HDMI. Good sound quality and very portable.

Works with OBS natively on Mac! The device itself is tiny, made of really solid stainless steel. The connection to a computer is an 18 reversible cable with two USB 3.0 male ends (NOT USB C). Adapter needed for USB C. Latency is normal, but there's no HDMI passthrough. Between this and the ElGato HD60+, I'd pick the ElGato (I now own both). USB C support + HDMI passthrough at almost half the price. Is it a quality device? Yes. Expensive? Yes.

I find this very practical because, not only can you watch or stream your favorite shows or movies, but you can also hear your podcasts or music through it. It has crisp and enriching noise levels that were tested with a couple of devices, which is another factor I really like about this unit. Comes bundled with a comfortable and easy-to-use control (batteries included) for adjusting your preferred audio settings and connectivity method. Plus, metal brackets for suspending it from whichever place you prefer. One of my pictures below shows all the things that come with it. Did I even mention that, unlike most soundbars, it comes with a subwoofer? Well, now you know, it does come with a powerful enough subwoofer that can deliver to enhance your theatre-like experience. This Polk Audio Signa S2 2.1- channel Soundbar has a very good sound with good frequency range on a budget. It sounds great with the Tiny Desk concert and viewing movies. I'd recommend for others to use in a small apartment.

The sound is crystal clear, the base is perfect, and the wireless subwoofer allows for several different options on where to place it that works for your home! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their sound and tv watching experience!
