[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so thrilled that I finally took steps to upgrade my home theatre sound with the Samsung Soundbar S50B. I love my smart TV, but the sound quality on its own is not at all smart. I found myself constantly turning the volume up and down in a battle to find the right level because speaking was too quiet but music and sound effects were way too loud. The Samsung Soundbar has solved that issue immediately with no need for adjustment on my end; the sound as I watch movies, TV, or play video games is well balanced. I also have satellite radio on my TV, and it sounds awesome on the soundbar. Setup was super easy too- I just used the included HDMI cord to plug in to the HDMI/ARC port on my TV, plug in the power cord, and select the source and it was ready to go with no troubleshooting needed. I just love when something works like it's supposed to the first time, and is intuitive. I'm a happy camper!

I got this for my husband's media setup. He has at least 6 game consoles and a soundbar all on one tv. It took us a couple tries, some troubleshooting, and some googling to get it working (follow the included quick start guide! The order you plug things in MATTERS!), but it's been working great since. The main problem we had was that the soundbar wouldn't work, even though its HDMI was plugged into the tv and not the switcher. Changed the soundbar hookup from HDMI to optical and that did the trick!

We were in the market for a new one so when we saw this Samsung HW-S700D 3.1ch Soundbar with Wireless Dolby Atmos it checked all of our boxes so we decided to give it a whirl. I was leery at first to try this because our TV is a different brand so we weren’t sure the setup process would go as smooth as it did. Let me tell you. Setup was a breeze and frustration free! It was as easy as connecting the soundbar and subwoofer to a power cord and they automatically linked to each other. I then first tried the wired connection with the HDMI to Micro HDMI cable from soundbar to Tv. The sound is amazing and perfectly balanced. Voices and dialogue are crisp and clear. The bass is easily adjustable with the remote. I wasn’t sure the sound would be as good with the wireless connection, but it was. Using the SmartThings app I could seamlessly switch and hide the cord. We’ve had no issues. The remote that is included automatically paired which was a relief. All in all we are extremely happy with this purchase and would give 6 stars if possible.

I bought this soundbar a few weeks ago and I am very pleased with it. The setup was very easy and simple. I was not able to use the HDMI port on the soundbar due to my tv being a bit older but the optical out was sufficient enough and sounds great. Also, I really like textured finish and the black helps blend in with my tv.

I did experience some issues in connecting the soundbar to the SmartThings app, however I was able to get it connected by manually adding it in. Overall this is a very impressive product for the price point, and I would definitely recommend for anybody looking to add theater like sound in their home with minimal setup and minimal space being utilized in their entertainment center.

This soundbar is amazing because of how well it makes it sound like you have an actual home theater setup without all the extra hardware. Upon receiving the soundbar, unpacking and setting it up was a breeze since all it required was plugging it in. Our family really liked the look of the soundbar because of how sleek and stylish it looks amongst the furniture and the TV stand. The included remote also looks really nice and easy to understand while being very functional. Now onto the main star of the show which is the sound quality. First off the great thing about this soundbar is the fact that it has so many sound modes as well support for different sound profiles and codecs. Some of the modes that I love are Adaptive sound which changes the sound as needed for different scenes in a movie for example during dialogue heavy scenes or during action scenes. My kids love the game mode pro when they play games since it makes the games feel like you are actually in it. Everyone also knows how much Dolby Atmos is a game changer when it comes to watching movies today with its ability bring sound around you with its upfiring speakers. The mode that I cant wait to try out is Q-Symphony once I get my new Samsung TV since it uses the speakers from the TV in conjunction with the soundbar which would truly fill the room with sound. All in all this is an amazing soundbar that truly makes your setup into a home theater.
