Samsung Soundbar Is Connected But No Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soundbar absolutely blew me away. The soundbar is so thin compared to the Older Samsung soundbar I was replacing ,with out the back speakers I was worried that it would be missing a ton of power and sound compared to my old soundbar "wow was I wrong". Once the new soundbar was mounted under my Samsung Frame TV I was amazed on how thin it was on the wall. The soundbar connected to the Samsung smartThings app very easy and just needed a quick update. It also sets itself up with the adaptive sound feature and adapts to your room. Once it was updated, I was connected to the tv I turned on StarWars Asoka and my god the sound from the little soundbar just blew me away, with the dolby atoms. With the Q-Symphony option it uses the speakers on my tv at the same time "I think this is only works with Select Samsung tv's" this help fill the room with even more surround sound. The soundbar came with a micro Hdmi to standard Hdmi cable to attach to your tv so nothing extra to buy " this is a great extra" you can also connect the sound bar via bluetooth or your home wireless. Once it was connected to my Wireless network and SmartThings it seamlessly connected to most of the tech in my home and can easily stream music right to it. It also has Alexa built in just had to connect via the Smarthings app it also works with Google home/Apple airplay and chromecast. When I connected to my X box I used the game mode and the sound it creates in the room is a game changer. In my short time with this soundbar I truly have been amazed by it the most difficult part was mounting the bar on the wall and that only to 25 minutes and I just wanted to make sure it was dead center and even on the wall. But just how easy it was to connect to the tv and my other devices and the crazy amount of base and sound that come out of such a small package still is just amazing. 5 |

i connected these to the samsung hw-801s soundbar and they really completed the sound. the rear speakers are clear and more than loud enough. once i figured out to adjust the surrounds volume through the soundbar remote they were great. i actually had put the volume too high and turned down the volume a little. i recommend if you get these to read some of samsung’s responses to other low rated reviews, it helped me figure out how to adjust them. hopefully the next version of these can be made smaller though. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sound bar packs some serious punch. The sound quality fills my living room as if it’s a theater - it’s evident from the first use that the Dolby Atmos sound quality is superior. The setup of the soundbar was quick and seamless, it connected wirelessly to my Samsung TV, which allowed for a clean wireless look on my entertainment stand. Having a Samsung TV paired with this setup allows for utilization of the Q-Symphony feature which up levels the amount of sound that fills the space. Would highly recommend this product paired with a Samsung tv. The subwoofer adds a level of bass that is just right, without distorting any sound. I did experience some issues in connecting the soundbar to the SmartThings app, however I was able to get it connected by manually adding it in. Overall this is a very impressive product for the price point, and I would definitely recommend for anybody looking to add theater like sound in their home with minimal setup and minimal space being utilized in their entertainment center. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung UltraSlim Soundbar has completely transformed my home entertainment experience. Its slim design seamlessly blends with my TV setup, occupying minimal space while delivering maximum impact. What truly sets it apart is its exceptional sound quality. The clarity of dialogue, richness of mid-tones, and depth of bass elevate every viewing session in a new way compared to my old setup! I’m a huge bass guy and I was very impressed with the sound especially from what is a very compact sub. Setting up the soundbar was a breeze, even for someone like me who isn't particularly tech-savvy. The included instructions were clear and concise, guiding me through the process effortlessly. Connecting it to my TV via HDMI ARC was straightforward, and within minutes, I was enjoying theater-quality sound in the comfort of my own home. The soundbar also comes with a user-friendly remote that allows me to adjust the volume, switch between different sound modes, and fine-tune the audio to my preferences with ease. One of the features I appreciate most about this soundbar is its Bluetooth connectivity. Being able to stream music wirelessly from my phone adds a whole new dimension to my entertainment setup. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my Samsung UltraSlim Soundbar. Its combination of sleek design, exceptional sound quality, and user-friendly features make it a standout choice for anyone looking to elevate their home entertainment setup. If you want to enjoy top-notch audio without sacrificing space or aesthetics, look no further! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung Soundbar (HW-S700D) really impressed me. I was a bit skeptical at first as I thought the slimness of this soundbar may not produce good enough sound, however I was pleasantly surprised when I fired up one of the Marvel movies and the sound was pretty good! The subwoofer also did not disappoint, the deep bass was just enough for our living room. I liked the handy remote, and the soundbar sits unobtrusively with our TV and pumps awesome theatrical Dolby Atmos. I would definitely recommend this Soundbar to anyone looking to upgrade their sound system, as it is easily installed and ready to wow you. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The title says it all. Once we took the Samsung Soundbar out of the box, the setup took about five minutes. The subwoofer and the soundbar connected to each other as soon as it was powered up. It then connected seamlessly to our Samsung smart TV in seconds. Until I compared our tv speakers to the soundbar, I didn't realize what we were missing. The quality of the sound has made watching our favorite shows and sports much more entertaining. Also, we played our favorite music playlist using the soundbar and danced, sang, and laughed for most of the afternoon! Who knew what we were missing out? Definitely would recommend this product. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this TV for over two weeks now and man am I impressed. I have owned a few flat screens over the years including Plasma, LCD, LED, and OLED TVs. I have noticed that we must make sacrifices when we jump from different tv panel technologies but with the Nano Cell, I can see that this is the way forward. Most TV’s suffer from simple things like color quality to viewing angles. But this beauty has the best of both worlds. I used to have to move around my sectional couch to get a good viewing angle but now I could sit anywhere and enjoy my movies. This TV comes with so many HDR standards like Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG you would be hard-pressed not to enjoy the accurate and bright colors. Not only does this TV look good but it sounds amazing as well connected to your Dolby Atmos soundbar. For TV speakers they are loud, I was impressed. But since I already had a soundbar, I decided to hook it up anyways. I was amazed that my soundbar sync so easily and never had any issues with the audio cutting off like my previous TV. This TV just has it all, ample connections like 4 HDMI’s, 2 usbs, and network connections so no external device is left behind. One feature that I did not know about but did try out was the Variable Refresh Rate (Needs an HDMI 2.1 Cable). I connected the TV to my gaming PC just to see if the TV could handle anything I could through at it graphically. I played anything from racings games to first person shooter and it was an amazing viewing experience, no screen tares and a constant high refresh rate which just made gaming so smooth. I would think this would be compatible with other consoles like the Xbox series. But since I do not one own one, I cannot confirm it. AMD Freesync will be enabled in a future software update. But if you are in the market for a very well-priced TV that can punch with higher-end models this one is the one for you. 5 |

I bought this soundbar to replace another one that I was using and it was worth doing. It connected via Bluetooth with ease and the sound is much better. I would recommend this product. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A bit of a scare at first thinking I couldn't get it to work with the app. You need to get this part to work to update the internal software. Once I stuck to the instructions to the letter and connected to both the unit, then my wifi, it is Perfect. I have the 7000 series too, and I like the 8000 much more. I got rid of my stereo, speakers, and wires connected to my PC. Tried with Bluetooth and works great. A/V synced fine but you can adjust it if you want. Then hooked up to Aux with an external sound card. This is what I want. It has several other settings, like Dim, Display, and Key Tone, but I have the soundbar EQ set to Movie and surround Off. I can change my soundcard with a press of a button between Off and Movie, so I use that. I hardly need to touch the remote unless a video has bad audio. I couldn't find the remote code with my old universal remote, but I put each button on the remote in learning mode, so I don't even need the remote that comes with it. It's nice to have separate volume -/+ and subwoofer -/+. It goes into standby mode if there is no sound for like 15 minutes to save power. If I got the same brand soundbar as my external sound card, it would cost 10 times more, so yeah, it's So worth the price! 5 |
