Samsung Soundbar Low Voice Volume

Setup: 5/5 Took about 10 minutes to setup. The only slight hiccup I had was that I pulled the power strip out of the outlet when putting my Media Center back in place. Other than that the instructions and wizards were very clear on what needed to be done, and worked wonderfully. Ease of use: 5/5 If you used the roku remote before, it works seamlessly with your current remote. Universal remotes that control the volume on the TV will also control the speaker volume, which was a pleasant surprise. I haven't used the voice remote much, but I've never been a big voice remote user in general, so I can't comment on that. Sound Quality ((4/5) For it's class) They sound about on par with a 2.1 soundbar and sub woofer. I was really quite surprised by the quality of bass that these speakers produced. I was fully prepared to have my first recommendation be to have a sub woofer port. Though I'd still like that feature, it's really not as necessary as you'd expect from a pair of small Bluetooth stereo speakers. Value: 5/5 For the money, they are better than most soundbar/subs in this class, and far easier and cleaner to setup. They do not replace a 5.1+ system or anything, but they also are significantly less costly, and easier to setup than most comparable, and costlier, sound bars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! The Samsung S800D blew me away. I wanted the sound of something better than TV speakers but also aesthetically pleasing. Here meets the S800D. The voices are crisp, music sounds great! If you have a compatible Samsung TV; you can have the best of both worlds with something known as Q-symphony. It combines the soundbar and Tv speakers into a beautiful immersive sounding experience. Another feature which really sets this soundbar above and beyond is active voice amplifier. Picture this, let’s say you are watching a show or movie with high background noise and the characters are talking. By having AVA on it will pickup on the noise and amplify the characters taking; so no dialogue is potentially lost and you don’t need to question what was said. The clarification of dialogue allows me to focus on the show without missing any exciting action. If you’re a gamer like my kids are, take advantage of Samsung’s game mode which is found in this soundbar. It provides more immersion and uses the up firing speakers for more intense sound effects from your gaming if you have the latest systems. If music is more your thing, it offers chrome cast and airplay support which provides better quality than your average Bluetooth connection as well Spotify connect. If you have a compatible Samsung phone you can tap the soundbar and your music will automatically switch over. Want to control your smart TV with your voice or pause your music? The soundbar also as voice assistant capability freeing up needing to get another device. I highly recommend this soundbar. So many features packed into a slim package!

i connected these to the samsung hw-801s soundbar and they really completed the sound. the rear speakers are clear and more than loud enough. once i figured out to adjust the surrounds volume through the soundbar remote they were great. i actually had put the volume too high and turned down the volume a little. i recommend if you get these to read some of samsung’s responses to other low rated reviews, it helped me figure out how to adjust them. hopefully the next version of these can be made smaller though.

It’s a long and narrow room so we wanted something that would help push the sound and boy does it ever! If you have the TV at a lower volume, the projection, base, and noise variances aren’t that noticeable. However, once you turn it up the soundbar comes to life! Everything is crisp and clear and beautifully blends together without getting too bass deep or high pitched. We have tested it on music videos, movies, kids shows, and streaming shows. Everything has been wonderful. Set up was a breeze, literally just a plug and play and we don’t have a Samsung TV. That’s the only bummer as we don’t get to use the Samsung only attributes, but it seamlessly integrated with our fire stick and we can control the volume with that. We are so happy with this soundbar - it met all our expectations and we looked for over a year to find one that met all the marks!
