Samsung Ssd 840 Evo 250Gb Laptop Upgrade Kit

I cloned this Samsung 256GB SSD 850 PRO drive from my Samsung 250GB SSD 850 EVO drive using my backup software. The system started with no problems. If this 256GB SSD 850 PRO is as fast and reliable as the 250GB SSD 850 EVO it is replacing, I will be extremely satisfied. Also, the PRO has a 10 year limited warranty. The 250GB SSD 850 EVO will replace the hard drive in my wife's laptop.

What’s not to like when it comes to Samsung SSD’s? I have quite a few, including the 860 EVO, older 840’s and 850’s EVOs and PROs that seem to last forever, as well as the newer NVMe 960 and 970 drives which are easily the fastest drives on the market. Samsung drives always hit or beat the rated speeds in both the excellent Samsung Magician software and in Crystal DiskMark. Samsung’s free data migration/cloning software is second to none as it works every time, and I even use it to keep current boot drive backups using older Samsung drives. If I could save a few dollars on some other brand, I’d still buy the Samsung because of the level of confidence and benefits of owning them vs. other brands.

I now have multiple Samsung products: phone, laptop, internal and externa SSDs. The hardware has been consistently excellent...zero complaints. So far, the 970 Evo SSD recently purchased is purring along as I have come to expect. NO disappointments here! I purchased a Galaxy Book Pro 2 with only a 256GB SSD with the intentions of replacing it with a 1TB drive. I got the best of both worlds when to my pleasant surprise, B&H gave me a gift certificate for $100 with the purchase of the laptop. I then applied that to the cost of the 1TB 970 Evo....coming out way ahead and have a much faster SSD that would have come installed in the laptop. I most certainly would highly recommend this product!

I used this product to mount Samsung 840 EVO Solid state Disk in a HP Envy desktop. Product is solid, comes with needed screws and installs easily. You can not beat the cost either.

I would say Samsung makes one of the best SSD. I had the Samsung 840 Pro before and now upgraded to Samsung 850 Pro 512gb

Fast replacement for a 250GB SSD.

Hey there, have a 250GB 859 EVO, and now the Pro, can't really say i� see a diff. but if the pro is anything like the evo, it's gotta be tremendo! my evo is over 4 years old and is still humming along as fast as can be. great drive at a great price... since, shivad

I bought this ssd for a quick upgrade from my old 250gb 850evo, It seems to be snappier and well the storage room is ample. Samsung does have a clone utility, but seems it only works with samsung drives. That's about the only negative of this product. Use AOEMI if your coming from another brand to this for an OS drive.
