Samsung Tablet Pen Vs Apple Pencil

Paperlike has made grading engineering student lab reports and research papers using my iPad Pro 12.9 and Apple Pencil 2 as close to using pen and paper as we can get in a digital world. This paradigm shift fits with not just our temporary Virtual teaching during COVID pandemic but also with our use of Canvas and Blackboard as our all digital LMS....no more physical paper for students to turn in and teachers to grade.....so how do we stay tactilely connected to the work? The Apple iPad Pro is the best tablet on the market. With the 2nd generation pencil the best has gotten better. No more need to plug in with a cable to charge, just stick it on the iPad when you are not using it. Remove it and you are ready to go.

I’m not sure which one you are asking about. I bought 2 for this iPad with the first one, the cover for the Apple Pencil broke off before I got the tablet installed. It went in the trash. I replaced it with another cover. At the same time I bought a case for my granddaughters Mini. It seems to work well and is very protective. Unfortunate it does not have provisions for the pencil. It works fine for her, but would be useless for me.

I have never owned an Apple Pencil but I do not know that I would need one after using this one.

After my 2'nd Samsung Tablet (in 5 years) broke, I decided to give Apple a try. This is my first apple product. I've always been a windows (pc) and Android ( tablet/phone) user, so when I needed a new tablet, I figured I'd give apple a try. $329.00 is cheap to try the apple eco system.... IOS seems a bit more restrictive than Android (maybe that's a learning curve ?)... but, so far, I am very impressed. From a user interface/usability standpoint, it is much more enjoyable to use than my Samsung (Android) tablet, albeit the Samsung was 3 years old. Very seemless integration with my Microsoft One Drive Cloud storage/MS office products. Got the apple pencil as well.... Why not ! I'll probably always stay with Windows OS for a pc, but may take a bite of the apple when I get a new pbone...

if you only need a cover and not a keyboard, the samsung bookcover is a great option. it's lightweight, sleek, can be matched to the rear color of the tablet and provides storage for the s-pen so the case can lay flat on surfaces. i also like the fact it holds the tablet and s-pen in place magnetically, no need for tabs or clips.

Pen Tablet works well as many reviews indicate. This Pro model comes with a very functional and customizable pen. The tablet is a good size for editing in Lightroom and Photoshop. Bundling a one-year Adobe Photographer subscription reduces actual cost to unbeatable in the Wacom medium tablet offerings.

Works perfectly. A must have with the Apple Pencil.

All I can say about this apple pencil 2 is I cannot imagine doing work without it.
