Samsung Television 48 Inches 299

I purchased the 48 boom arm to go over top of my monitors. I changed my mind when I redesigned the office and now the arm sits on the side. Each segment is about 24 inches. The next smaller size would have been a better choice for the current setup. With the larger arm it will cover most of my desk if I choose to work on the other side of the desk. The desk to 70 inches long. I choose to clamp it to the desk instead of drilling a hole. If your desk has a grommet hole, it should work there too. The arm is stiff and I find you need to pull it at the connection joints for easier movement. It hold the Samson G Track Pro with Shockmount well.

I installed a 34 inch Samsung S34J55x on this arm and it works perfectly. The monitor weighs about 15 lbs. The arm allows me to position the monitor so that the viewing distance is about 18 inches. The arm extends the monitor about 22 inches from its base. This is my second successful Ergotron install. Several years ago I installed two 24 inch monitors on an Ergotron dual monitor arm. The results were excellent which led to my purchase of the LX model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Music Frame that was just released is awesome. The frame is heavier than your regular picture frame. It size is 13.8 x 13.8 inches and is 2 inches thick. This frame is not a digital one but it camouflages a high quality speaker. It blends with your room environment. The frame can be displayed with an angle stand or mount to the wall. It is wireless and has a bluetooth connection. You can use your favorite music streaming service to hear your music. It can also be used with Alexa. It has a Q-symphony feature that allows to send wirelessly from a compatible Samsung tv to include two Music Frames at one time. The sound is terrific and can be use as a subwoofer. I am very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it. I love that Samsung is always developing new innovative products. Great job Samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My prior non-Samsung soundbar of just a few years started to malfunction, so I decided that my new soundbar would be from Samsung. I had no idea what dimensions to expect as this product was not yet available. However my prior soundbar was a 3.1 system with subwoofer. So going to a 5.1 system seemed like it would be a nice upgrade. I hadn't realized that the subwoofer is built in. Nor that this soundbar was relatively small. For context, my TV is 64 inches and my prior soundbar was 42 inches. This soundbar was just over 26 inches, so I was skeptical about how it would look alongside the TV or how good the sound would be in our relatively large living room. To my surprise, this soundbar kicked butt. The sound was way better than before, and installation was pretty seamless. The sound filled the room, and you could clearly hear the conversations in the show. They even have a preset to amplify voices so you can hear them even better. But the regular setting was more than enough for me. I hooked mine up to the TV using SPDIF port (my own cable), but they provide an HTMI cable for HDMI/eARC if that's your preference. The mounting brackets were nice as well, and helped me hook it up to my TV mantel mount. I'm not a sound expert, but overall really happy with how it sounded for music and movies, which are my two main use cases. Really happy with the purchase, and space-saving built-in subwoofer and would certainly recommend!

Got this television to replace a very old flat panel. The picture on the CU8000 is great and it's light enough to move around without an issue. The one thing that really needs either changing or better explanation is Samsung's user interface. It is awful. Moving from HDMI 1 (in this case, cable) to HDMI 2 (AppleTV) and HDMI 4 (a rarely used DVD player) takes WAY too many steps. Why there is no input button on the remote is beyond me. Samsung all but forces you to use their connections for any streaming service. Beyond the UI, great TV at a great price.

The television comes well packed with clear instructions on the box as to how to open it and then the provided manual guides you through the rest of the assembly and setup. Setup is very easy through the mobile app, but you can also do it via the television also. It helps to have a Samsung account which is easy to setup also. It is worth also connecting your television to the internet at this stage also. Scanning for channels was also a breeze and the main UI and apps are well presented and easy to access. The television comes with two remotes, one full and one smaller cut down with basic controls but very useful and which is also chargeable via solar or USB. The television has different image pre-set modes and manual adjustment so you can adjust your image to your liking as well as type of television you are watching and lighting conditions you are in. The images are nice and crisp and clear with really good definition. When it comes to sound the onboard speakers are very good with excellent range from base through to higher tones. The ability also to use smart features and control the television and smart devices vocally is also very handy. In addition to watching television or online streaming services, you can also play games and hook up a controller, or link your PC to the television and also play games or use as a monitor and the refresh rate is very good. There are a lot of hdmi as well as other ports on the rear to connect other devices to your television. Samsung also provides a lot of apps as well as their own free streaming service of television episodes, films, news and even sport. Overall a really good television with excellent audio and visual capabilities which fits really well in my 4m by 4m room.
