I have to smart televisions but the roku works better than the Built-in apps for the TV. My TV's have buffering issues that do not exist on the roku. I was impressed enough to buy a second device within a week. 5 |

I purchased a Roku Express a few months ago and the remote used on a Samsung TV is terrible. I think there is problem with the volume buttons. I went through all trouble shooting - no luck Roku's answer is "buy a new remote" which means pay to replace your non-working item (it was like this when I got it). 5 |

I hoped buying this would address the issues with the Roku Express, such as switching from cable TV to Roku with the Roku remote, managing volume, etc. Not only it delivers, but it also feels faster. The image quality is excellent but I don't have a very recent TV so it is not very meaningful.. 5 |

I purchased the Ultra to upgrade from our old Roku Express that was about 8 years old and was having functionality issues (running too slowly, booting us off of apps for no reason). The Ultra was a great upgrade--everything loads super fast comparatively, and it supports channels that our old Express did not, like Peacock. The voice command is nice for entering passwords etc. but we also aren't too lazy to press buttons to navigate where we need... The headphones are a nice option, though I'm not 100% sure how much we will use them. Nice to have in case one of us wants to sleep while the other watches a show. I like that the remote can control the volume and power of the TV, and is rechargeable too--no more replacing batteries. All in all, we are super happy with our upgrade to the Ultra. No complaints. 5 |
