[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG soundbar delivers impressive sound quality without taking up too much space. Its sleek design fits seamlessly with my TV stand. While the remote control is a bit confusing initially, the LG soundbar mobile app offers a convenient alternative. I was able to easily pair my TV remote to control the soundbar's volume, which is a nice touch. The bass is powerful and enhances both movies and music, and vocals are clear and easy to understand. Unfortunately, I didn’t experience a strong sense of surround sound; the audio primarily comes from the front. Nevertheless, the overall sound quality is excellent for the price.

Easy to use and does what we need. Since we already have a Samsung television, even the TV remote control keys adjust the soundbar volume! Now we can hear the television over the nearby furnace noise. Also I read that I can expand it to surround sound, though I haven't looked into that yet.

I am able to control so many devices, just by changing between sources and the remote adjusts according to the tv to control the device automatically. With the built in Alexa I am able to control all the devices in the house while I am watching tv including the Tv. Sometimes the kids have the TV so loud I Am able to tell “Alexa LG TV Volume 10” and turns the TV down without me yelling. Kids love watching their cartoons on the Big screen. I have noticed I am able to move from screen to screen without waiting for the application to load. For example I was watching Live TV and wanted to go to Netflix to search a movie. I was able to switch between both without turning one off. It’s a great TV, my self and my family are loving it and enjoying watching TV together.

Just purchased this LG soundbar to complement our LG TV and it works perfectly the available function control through the TV interface is fantastic and the sound is unbelievable.

It is perfect in size and with minimal affect to room design. Set up was easy and it comes with a wall mount kit. Easily pairs with our Q-Symphony Samsung TV so it combines the TV speakers with the sound bar speakers! It includes a remote although our Samsung TV remote works on both! If you’ve got a Samsung phone, you can walk right up to the soundbar and tap it on the top to play music directly from your phone! Be sure to turn on the option in the smart things app! The sound is clear, and what we were hoping for as we watch movies, play video games and play music in our home. Ideal for our needs for something compact that still provides quality sound—and without muffling of the dialogue!

Upgraded from old soundbar to go with new LG TV, great combo.

This remote is very similar to the one I have that came with the TV. The best part is you don’t have to have to program it. Once the batteries are in, it is good to go.

We previously used our TV speakers for a number of years, and the LG Soundbar S80TR took everything to a whole new level. Setting up and installing the LG Soundbar took less than thirty minutes to complete. You're able to utilize your Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity to listen to Spotify or audio directly from your phone, tablet, or PC. You can also Cast content directly to the soundbar. You're also to update and main the soundbar via the LG Soundbar App. Within the app you can adjust the output volume for each speaker. This is ideal if you live in an apartment or you don't want to wake your family at night. While playing content that supports a 5.1.3 setup, you're able to hear voices and sound effects all around you. The 5 represents the amount of speakers in the soundbar; the .1 represents the subwoofer, and finally, the .3 represents the Dolby Atmos speakers. The added Dolby Atmos speakers sends the audio to the ceiling and back to the listener. When you hear the added sound and clarity, you'll wonder why you didn't upgrade to a soundbar sooner.
