Samsung Tv Remote Turn On Sound Bar

I purchased the stream bar pro two months ago to upgrade an older roku device. I already had the smaller stream bar for a smaller tv with poor sound. I wanted the complete set up for the living room so I purchased the wireless speakers and sub woofer and the stream bar pro. The sound is amazing watching anything on tv or listening to music streaming over Bluetooth. Deep bass high highs and midrange is also good best sounding audio system I’ve ever owned. Everything all on one simple remote control change the channel turn up and down the volume or mute. Learning the remote will take all of five minutes and you never have to look at it again. Another big plus you can turn on and off your tv with it just simple.

When my the software of my last Samsung Smart Tv could no longer support Netflix, I decided it was time for another. I had a little trouble figuring out how to get the cable TV part of the TV to play when I turn the unit on but now that I have figured it out, I am very happy. There are numerous apps to link to various services which is great. The picture quality can be adjusted to taste as can the sound. The remote is small and efficient but I am also able to use my cable remote to turn the unit on and adjust volume and channels. Overall, I am very pleased.

My husband is a Samsung loyal customer and he wanted to add a some speakers to our living room tv. I actually didn’t think we needed these speakers but boy was I mistaken! The sounds that weren’t coming thru with just the tv is really shocking!! We were missing so much and I had no idea! I also like that it doesn’t take up much room for the amount of sound you get from just two speakers! Good sound. Having some control over bass is great. With optical hook up to TV there was an occasional echo like sound (non sync with tv speakers). Very minor. I wanted the tv remote to control the sound bar anyway so when I hooked it up with HDMI instead, it was resolved. I should mention that the remote is necessary to turn on the voice enhancement which is a very nice feature for someone in my house. Issue: There was one time that "mute" was enabled and I could not turn sound back on. I tried all three remotes (LG TV, Bose, DishNetwork) and it would not turn sound back on. Power off, then power on Bose via remote reset it. Everything works as normal again. All three remotes can control volume.

This sound bar makes such a difference! Before, we had to turn up the volume on the TV so loud because it seemed like the sound was coming from the side of the TV instead of the front. It was easy to set up. We have an older TV, so I had to use the extra cord for the sound bar to work with my TV. The sound is great!

When I turn up the volume on the TV, the audio level is not exactly visible, only the plus and minus signs are visible, I would like to see the sound level of the bar while I increase the volume

The sound bar is excellent and the so is the control software. I have a Samsung NU8000 TV (2018) and I found out the hard way that it doesn't support DTS. Any DTS input signal is downgraded to PCM stereo when using ARC on the TV :( It appears Samsung dropped DTS support in 2018 so be careful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded my Soundbar from a 7.1.2 Channel bar to the Samsung Q910D 9.1.2 Channel bar, and the upgrade was beyond worth it! This is a fully immersive experience with sound so good that it almost makes it challenging to focus on the screen. The room my TV is in is long and narrow, so not having the sound bounce around and just sound jumbled & loud has always been tricky. The SpaceFit Sound Pro calibration instantly made the sound amazing. I have the Samsung QN85B Neo QLED TV, and it pairs beautifully with this setup. I did find that setting the soundbar up on SmartThings via the TV had a hiccup, but then I just moved to my phone, and it was all dialed in within a minute to two. The back speakers are awesome! I honestly didn’t know I needed them, especially in my room, but there are so many little nuances to shows and movies that these speakers capture to really make you feel like you are in the middle of the entertainment. I think one of my biggest surprises is the balance that the system provides. The adaptive sound feature is incredible. The dialogue track of everything I have watched is crystal clear no matter if it is an intense action scene, the Taylor Swift concert on repeat with my daughter, or a quieter scene. Trust me, you won’t miss a thing. Another added benefit of pairing this soundbar with a Samsung TV is that the profile is perfect. Currently my TV is not wall mounted, so the soundbar sits perfectly in front of my TV without impeding the picture or leaving a gap between the bar and the TV. It provides a very clean design that feels integrated into the room. I have not tested the soundbar on a different brand of TV to verify that the quality when used with a Samsung TV is better, but all I can say is I will never watch TV the same again. This soundbar makes you appreciate your investment in a decent TV.

Easy to install, mounted Vizio sound bar onto Samsung tv, no prob! Well worth it!!
