I use the headphones to listen to TV late at night via bluetooth. Between the Headphones & TV they connect automatically with easy volume controls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought Dec 2022 to go with a new samsung TV. The pair use what's called q symphony which allows all the speakers to be used from both the tv and sound bar to work as one unit. Overall the sound is great not much adjusting needed. Only downside is the soundbar doesn't use eARC just ARC through one port, so everything needs to be connected to the TV then the TV to the soundbar, no optical connection either. It's very long for a soundbar which should fit under a 55" or larger, but the depth is extremely slim compared to the Q800 model that I saw in a retail store. Overall love the soundbar thinking on picking up the matching rear atmos wireless speakers soon to finish it off. If you need alot of connections directly to your soundbar or need a digital display on it, this soundbar is not for you. For everyone else, especially samsung tv owners who can use Q Symphany, want to have a very flush mounting soundbar, the HW-S800B is an excellent purchase, with the option to expand to a full 5.1(2).4 system.

Needed a simple, well-built switch to switch between headphones and monitor speakers. Could also be used in the future to take two inputs from different sources and play through the same output. Compact and easy to velcro to the side of a desk, out of the way.

The Samsung 43" QN90D Neo QLED 4K TV is the newest and welcome addition to my home office. With the crispy 4K resolution and fash 144Hz refresh rate, my games coming out of my PS5 and PC (RTX 4070) look beautiful. I also have my switch attached to it and while it only outputs 1080p @ 60Hz, games still look great since at 4K at 43" the pixel density is really high. Suffice to say 4K video from Netlix looks gorgeous too. The software is really helpful too since it autodetects attached devices and can power on when those attached devices turn on too. I will admit it had some issues figuring out that my Switch was a Switch, but that's more of a nitpick. Because I own a Samsung Z Flip 5, my phone autodetected the TV and added it to my Samsung account too. I'm a big fan of small convenience features such as these. I'm really happy with the TV and will happily continue to purchase my gaming peripherals from them.

The infinitely one screen take our gaming to a whole different level. The kids absolutely love playing the switch on the 8k. They say it's like having Mario and Luigi in the living room with us.

Although the TV itself comes with good speakers, I wanted to enhance the 4K experience with a solid Dolby Atmos capable system. The best option was undoubtedly the Samsung Q990D, but my budget didn't allow for it. The next best I could afford was the Samsung Q800D, and it didn't fail to impress me at all. The soundbar itself sounded so rich and full compared to my old system. The bass vibrated my floor, and everything sounded incredibly crisp and clear. Q-Symphony is one of the best features available when you have a Samsung sound system paired with a Samsung TV. I was already in love with my setup, but when I realized the soundbar could be paired with rear speakers, I quickly purchased the Samsung SWA-9500s. I was blown away by the overall experience, so much so that I rewatched all my movies just to experience the sheer excellence of my complete sound system. The Samsung Q800D soundbar paired with the SWA-9500s rear speakers has elevated my home theater experience to a whole new level. The combination of Dolby Atmos, Q-Symphony, and powerful sound has turned my living room into a cinematic masterpiece. If you're looking to invest in a high-quality sound system, I highly recommend this setup. It's a perfect blend of performance and value.

It is perfect in size and with minimal affect to room design. Set up was easy and it comes with a wall mount kit. Easily pairs with our Q-Symphony Samsung TV so it combines the TV speakers with the sound bar speakers! It includes a remote although our Samsung TV remote works on both! If you’ve got a Samsung phone, you can walk right up to the soundbar and tap it on the top to play music directly from your phone! Be sure to turn on the option in the smart things app! The sound is clear, and what we were hoping for as we watch movies, play video games and play music in our home. Ideal for our needs for something compact that still provides quality sound—and without muffling of the dialogue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded my Soundbar from a 7.1.2 Channel bar to the Samsung Q910D 9.1.2 Channel bar, and the upgrade was beyond worth it! This is a fully immersive experience with sound so good that it almost makes it challenging to focus on the screen. The room my TV is in is long and narrow, so not having the sound bounce around and just sound jumbled & loud has always been tricky. The SpaceFit Sound Pro calibration instantly made the sound amazing. I have the Samsung QN85B Neo QLED TV, and it pairs beautifully with this setup. I did find that setting the soundbar up on SmartThings via the TV had a hiccup, but then I just moved to my phone, and it was all dialed in within a minute to two. The back speakers are awesome! I honestly didn’t know I needed them, especially in my room, but there are so many little nuances to shows and movies that these speakers capture to really make you feel like you are in the middle of the entertainment. I think one of my biggest surprises is the balance that the system provides. The adaptive sound feature is incredible. The dialogue track of everything I have watched is crystal clear no matter if it is an intense action scene, the Taylor Swift concert on repeat with my daughter, or a quieter scene. Trust me, you won’t miss a thing. Another added benefit of pairing this soundbar with a Samsung TV is that the profile is perfect. Currently my TV is not wall mounted, so the soundbar sits perfectly in front of my TV without impeding the picture or leaving a gap between the bar and the TV. It provides a very clean design that feels integrated into the room. I have not tested the soundbar on a different brand of TV to verify that the quality when used with a Samsung TV is better, but all I can say is I will never watch TV the same again. This soundbar makes you appreciate your investment in a decent TV.

My husband is a Samsung loyal customer and he wanted to add a some speakers to our living room tv. I actually didn’t think we needed these speakers but boy was I mistaken! The sounds that weren’t coming thru with just the tv is really shocking!! We were missing so much and I had no idea! I also like that it doesn’t take up much room for the amount of sound you get from just two speakers! Scenes are analyzed in real time to pull out the most important audio based on the type of content. I mostly leave my Frame tv on with artwork. When you completely power off the tv you have to reselect bluetooth the Polk speakers from Samsung Frame tv quick menu (its quick). The Samsung Frame tv remote will controls the polk volume and has no wired connection other than the power cord. I didn't want to run any wires and the front speaker is small enough that it hides on the shelf and when on it sounds better than the tvs speakers and the wireless subwoofer behind the couch adds a much fuller sound to the system. It's not as amazing as some bigger wired systems but it is very minimal and complements the frame tv well, keeping the illusion of a piece of art. I really like it in my space.
