Samsung Ultra Wide Monitor Odyssey

High quality and designed very well. I am using with a Samsung 27” ultra wide monitor. YouTube videos are very helpful for which direction to adjust tension and installation steps. Fast shipping and product was packaged safely.

Bought the Ninja Ultra, Connect and Recording and Accessory kit in order to get full functionality: monitor, ProRes back-up of camera files, RAW recording, and Connect 2 Cloud. Don’t think I’ll need the NDI feature, but if a client wants it, it’s only a $99 add-on for HD. My only complaint so far: no manual as of July 2024. The Ultra has been out for months, it’s inexcusable there’s no manual. That said, the menu is largely intuitive and most things I needed to know can be Googled. I did have to contact support with questions a couple times and they always responded quickly with good answers. I couldn’t figure out why the record button was grayed out, and was told you can’t record on the Ninja until you either pair it with Atomos Cloud Services or press “Unpair ACS” in the Ninja menu. Key instructions like that should come with the monitor. The monitor is accurate to my Sony FX6 LCD, with a slightly better color match than my Odyssey 7Q+. I was concerned there may be latency, especially over HDMI, but a test at 23.98P showed the Ninja only lags by one frame whether connected by SDI or HDMI. The Ninja does get really hot, but even with the fan on auto it hasn’t kicked on during recording. Tested the C2C connection to Frame.io, a short clip showed up in Frame.io within seconds, but this will depend on WiFi speed. Awesome feature. Overall very happy with the diverse functionality of the Ninja/Connect system, it’s an impressive Swiss army knife with different tools for different jobs. At this price it’s a good buy and a great 5” alternative to my 7” Odyssey for run-and-gun shoots, while on studio shoots it compliments the Odyssey with C2C and 4K recording, while the Odyssey delivers the key feature of being able to display multiple camera feeds side by side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 monitor is the best monitor I’ve ever used. The picture is crystal clear and adapts to any game type you play (first person shooters, sports, role playing, strategy, simulation, and adventure games). Only downside is that it has no speakers so you will need external speakers if you wish to not use a headset. The quality is so good, I just ordered the Samsung Neo QLED 8k for all my streaming purposes.

I recently got the Samsung Odyssey G3 LF24G35TFWNXZA 24 monitor for work, and it’s been a game-changer. The 144 Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time make everything from spreadsheets to video editing super smooth. The Full HD 1080p resolution ensures crisp and clear visuals, which is perfect for long hours of work. But the real fun begins when I hook it up to my PS5. The AMD FreeSync Premium technology eliminates screen tearing and stuttering, providing a seamless gaming experience. The 3-sided borderless design is sleek and immersive, making my gaming sessions even more enjoyable. This monitor’s adjustable stand is a big plus, allowing me to find the perfect angle for both work and play. Eye Saver Mode and Flicker-Free technology help reduce eye strain, which is great for those extended sessions. Overall, this monitor is a perfect budget monitor for anyone looking to balance productivity and gaming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 43" monitor stands out with its premium display technology and gaming-focused features. It's well-suited for gamers who want a large, high-resolution display with smooth performance, but its price point and size might be overkill for casual users or those with limited space. If you're looking for top-tier performance and an immersive gaming experience, this monitor is a solid choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Odyssey G65B is a great gaming monitor, It peaks at a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz with full support of FreeSync and G-SYNC over DisplayPort. Even though it has HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, it's not fully compatible with the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S The contrast ratio is very good, and the curved screen size makes for an immersive gaming experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the Samsung 32” Odyssey OLED G8 Gaming Monitor, and the difference is nothing short of spectacular. The color quality is awesome, thanks to the OLED technology. Unlike normal LED screens that go to a dark gray when displaying black, this monitor achieves true black by turning the pixels all the way off. This contrast creates a more vivid and immersive viewing experience. The HDR support further enhances the color, making games and videos look even more lifelike. The monitor itself is massive compared to my old one, which means I can only run one monitor due to the size of my desk. But honestly, with a screen this impressive, I don't feel like I need a second monitor. One of the standout features is the 240Hz display. This high refresh rate lets my new beefy computer perform at its best, allowing for up to 240 frames per second. My old monitor could only handle 144Hz, so the jump to 240Hz has made gaming incredibly smooth. The difference in gameplay is noticeable, especially in high-impact games where graphics are a key selling point. The monitor also comes with its own USB output, which is super handy for plugging in a charger directly. Another great feature is the onboard media center, allowing me to install apps like Netflix and stream shows with the same stunning color quality and fidelity. Overall, gaming on the Samsung 32” Odyssey OLED G8 is a dream. The combination of true black, HDR support, and 240Hz refresh rate makes every game look better and run smoother than ever before. If you're looking for a top-tier gaming monitor, this one is definitely worth considering.

Holds a heavy, ultra-wide, curved monitor very well.
