The T7 is great but I was running out of storage space and needed another drive. Luckily the Samsung T9 SSD 1tb just released and what an amazing upgrade. I ran the Black Magic drive speed test on both my T7 and T9 and the T9 was significantly faster. Moving large files to drive was super quick and seamless. The T9 has a very nice feel to it. It has a rubbery texture so there is some grip to it which is what you want on a portable drive. It came with both a USB A to C and USB C to C cable. This is convenient since I have a new MacBook Pro which has no USB A input, so I had the options for cables. I would highly recommend this drive for anyone looking for some external storage. Samsung drives are known to be very reliable and I feel pretty safe with having this drive hold my hours of hard work and not worry about losing it.
