A few days after obtaining the charging cable we went to Mexico and my boost cable worked perfect. I had no issues with charging my iPhone and the charge was unbelievably quick. I left my device was properly protected and the cable length is great. I purchased various cables from this company in the past, like HDMI cables. I just purchased a new power recliner that has a built in USB-A charging port. A 3ft cable was too short and a 10ft cable was too long, sixfold is the perfect length for my needs. Like all Pearstone cables this one is nicely made and has a nice quality feel to it. I have the longer version of this cable so I have the same exact thoughts on both. �If you do not need the speed of a USB 3.1 cable and you have some newer USB C style devices then this is for you. �If you plan to get a USB C computer of any kind in the near future then I would recommend just getting the USB 3.1 version as it should be backwards compatible. �If you only need it for charging purposes then just save some money and stick with this USB 2.0 version. �I prefer the 3' one for hard drives or devices near my desktop that I will not be moving around very much and the 6' for charging purpose for some of my mobile devices. 5 |
