i use this with a 2 in 1 tablet computer, very portable. Runs on usb power, flashing LEDs tell you it's connected and talking to your devices. does not seem to lag, works well. fits well in gig bag with keyboard 5 |

I was looking for USB to serial adapter which will work under the Windows 7 and this adapter does exactly that. Even better - Windows 7 already has built-in driver for this adapter! 5 |

Pros: Very fast startup, Very easy to install using Samsung's Data Migration Software. I installed the 850 PRO by migrating my boot HDD to the 850 PRO and replacing the HDD (my C: drive) with the much faster 850 PRO. Everything went very smoothly in my Windows 10 AMD desktop. Cons: Samsung could do a better job on instructing the user on how to prepare the system prior to the start of data migration. For example there should be a set of instructions informing the user to make sure the AHCI driver is loaded on the Windows 10 system prior to the start of data migration. If you don't use AHCI you will not get the maximum performance from your ssd. If you install the AHCI driver after migrating the data to the ssd and then replacing the hdd with the ssd, you may lose the ability to boot the computer from the ssd. Windows 10 does not install the AHCI driver in a fresh install of Windows 10. Samsung should have step by step instructions on what to do to make sure we get best performance for which the ssd was designed. 5 |

This SSD supports the new PCIE 4.0 standard. My laptop supports only the previous PCIE 3.0 standard. So, I was thinking the speed would still be the same as before given the situation. I was mistaken. This new SSD boots up faster than my previous 970 EVO Plus, so it is in fact an upgrade and future proof. However, the problem is not with the drive, the problem is with the Samsung driver. Samsung is at this writing only, making a driver available for their SSD's UP TO AND INCLUDING the 970 series only. There is no Samsung Elpis controller driver for this model. So, Windows 10 uses the built-in standard Microsoft NVME driver for Windows 10 that was written in 2006. Almost 15 years ago. So, I imagine that as soon as Samsung releases a new driver for this device, it will be even faster. Love it. 5 |

I needed to replace a Focusrite Scarlette 2i2 that was having driver issues with Windows 11. This Peavey USB-P needs no drivers and has worked flawlessly, so far. My only issue was that it did not include the USB type B cable. I scavenged a cable from a USB-connected printer, until I can purchase a new cable. 5 |

After my last mixer turned out to be a disappointment, (having blown a few channels from only two months of use), I was willing to spend whatever it took to find something more reliable and little less noisy. The 12XU was it.Very quiet, or transparent in a well treated room.I really like the one knob compression, (just a little goes a long ways). Even using a pre-amp on the mic was still quiet enough for mixing with background music, (or easily pulled using NR software for solo VO).I like the multiple color scheme that works well in a sea of buttons for quick grabs, (that I don't need to find my glasses to read labels).Lighted Mute buttons that say ON. Nuff said.A PFL switch to listen to channels independently when you're live and can't solo to investigate any issues that may arrise, or to preview a channel before putting it into the mix. I will certain use this one for live event work. It also has a solid build and feel to it.You'll have to download and install a USB driver for PC connectivity, and while it might seem like a minor issue, what you'll get is an ASIO driver to use in your DAW, (zero latency, ASIO features for labptops with non ASIO cards, etc). Nice. While the board is not difficult to use, One caveate is the USB input. It requires input level adjustment via an Attenuator Function, found on pages 22 and 28 of the manual. Read it, or weep.My only gripe was having to provide my own USB Cable. So, you might want to order one with it. 5 |
