Samsung Video Conference Monitor

I bought this to hold a video conference camera at a specific height. The camera normally clips to the top of my monitor, but with a large monitor it basically just showed the top of my head. This Telepod is lightweight and operates intuitively and elevates the camera to about 14 off the desk which gives everyone a face-front view. Very satisfied, and it is also a good value as other comparable models were much more expensive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An ultra wide monitor with thunderbolt ports from Samsung?? What more can you ask for! I was surprised with how huge the box was when this flagship monitor came in. I felt like I ordered a new television. The ultrawide 34" screen makes you feel immersed as you watch movies or play games 21:9. I also love the sound quality this monitor makes. It almost felt like a surround sound system and I was amazed as how great the stock speakers were. Some specs of the CJ791 is that it has a refresh rate of 100hz, 4ms response time, 3440x1440 screen resolution, and a contrast ratio of 3000:1. Although it isn't an IPS monitor, the QLED technology covers more than 125% of the sRGB color space making it a great monitor for video editing as well. It's a productivity monster when I used Adobe Premeire for video editing. I could fit the whole time onscreen and then some! The CJ791 also comes with AMD free sync and a game mode optimizing responsiveness and screen lag. The thunderbolt connections take the win for this monitor giving it the crown for one of the first monitors from Samsung with this connectivity. It can transmit video and data at speeds of up to 40Gbps — 8 times faster than USB 3.0 — and simultaneously charges devices (up to 85W), all over a single cable. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Similar to getting my first Galaxy smartwatch, I had no idea how much the additional features of a smart monitor would improve every day life. Sure, I use it for work and the screen resolution is crispy and clear. Samsung monitors last forever, which is why I keep coming back for more. But it's also now having a TV in my set up, along with video game streaming, along with streaming music, along with SmartThings remote control, along with.... I think you get the idea. I didn't think I would use every feature it had, just because it had so many. I have a Samsung TV, and a gaming console, and a Samsung Surround Sound system, so why would I want all of what those can do in a monitor? Because they all work together and it's now an additional option in case my wife is watching TV and I'd like to play a video game. Or I want to stream music without turning on my computer. I'd say it's a jack of all trades, but that would be doing it a disservice. It's an ace of all trades.

use it to add Samsung 65 TV to computer system to conference with clients (with bluetooth keyboard and mouse). Don't try to use a USB to power the receiver side - at least mine didn't work until I plugged in the AC adapter

I got this just before my trip to a conference in California and I didn't want to use a Bluetooth anymore. I tried it with my Samsung and it works very well. I only had 1 problem only where I could hear some cracking noises but the problem has gone away. I tested it as well with my kids Ipads and there was no problem. Great addition to my V-Moda headphones so that I can use the mic for video conference calls.

I really like this monitor it's a definite upgrade from my 32" samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Speaker really improves sound of conference calls over monitor speakers, and the flashing lights to remind you when a meeting is starting is really handy. Much more useful than a standard dock.

Needed a webcam for work conference calls. This one had the look I liked most in the price range I was looking for. Pros: the look, privacy shutter, small size, not super wide angle. Very clear video and audio. My screen looks the clearest from the group in calls. Cons: the way it attaches to the monitor is not great. Luckily I don't move my monitor around or it'd likely fall from such a flimsy looking hold. Its not a major con but I would've liked it be a bit more clamp-like
