[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung, as a brand, is the gold standard for SSD storage for my clients. I purchased this as a replacement for a stock Dell drive and its been rock solid, fast, and reliable. Migrating using the Samsung Data Migration software sometimes gives me trouble but in those cases I have many options for free alternatives available and I've always been successful. 5 |

my samsung 970 evo plus 500gb nvme m.2 is no doubt the best ssd! i've used mine since shortly after it first came out and i've used/use others as well. my 970 still scores top speeds on tests where as other ssds i use tend to get worn out and slow down over time. i ran smartctl yesterday and my 970 has 51 tb written and still scores 2,900-3,200 reads/writes when tested. i believe it will live up to the 300tbw lifespan that the 500gb has. sure is good nowadays to be able to trust that something works because many are a let down but not samsung! excellent ssds! highly recommend!! 5 |
