Samsung Watch Release 2023

This review is for the brand new Shogun 7 release in October 2023 with AtomosOS 11. I currently have the Ninja V which I love but I film hockey games and its sometime hard to follow the puck on the 5 screen. The new Shogun 7 makes a big difference and allows me to zoom in further but yet I can still follow the puck action. Most controls are very similar to the Ninja V so if you have used that in the past you feel right at home. Battery life isn't much worse than the Ninja V. Its a little bulkier in size but not too bad. Also you get a USB C power cable so you can plug that in and have the battery connected remotely keeping the weight down on the actual monitor.

It was always a beautiful display monitor since release, but since the latest firmware updates this year 2023, it is in a league of its own. Premium Colour is beautiful with HDR with the quantum dot ips display. It is now able to do 0.1ms GTG 144hz at 4k or lower resolutions; it can do 500 fps with adaptive sync off, vsync, gsync, freesync etc to get ultimate minimal input lag. As especially when using a 8k HDMI 2.1a cable connected to a 3080 12gb or Rtx 4080 (am now using) there is zero motion blur. Let it be known I manage a high end AV store and this is the best monitor we have tested. - new firmware.

After a colleagues drive failed due to the great Samsung fail of 2023, I found myself holding my breath every time I plugged my extreme pro ssd in hoping my project files were still in tact.(And yes, I have more than one backup drive so nothing would be gone forever but my working drives are crucial to me.) I couldn't take it anymore and decided Glyph has a good track record with stable drives so paid the extra and got peace of mind.

Bought it in November 2023 and it definitely is a great TV, after two bad experiences with Samsung. The only thing that I think should be easier, is when connecting Bluetooth devices to it, other than that, it's a great TV. My first Sony TV and it works great,

Samsung has the best products hands down. I have the phone, watch, and earbuds and they all been great to me.
