A wireless remote has many advantages ... since you are not attached to a cable and close to a camera ... to release the shutter. Excellent for bird photography ... but great for selfies, kids, pets, bad weather (lightning) and cold weather photography ... you can be in a warm vehicle ... controlling your shutter release remotely. Only disadvantage is ... a little more gear to carry around vs a plug in cable release. 5 |

Advantages are: wireless charging, fast charging (less then 20 min). Disadvantages: looks cheap enough, not as soft, so during intensive work one can always hear that click-alike sound from the screen, also a little bit thicker than pen, so it may take some time to get familiar. But overall it is a handy thing, especially when software supports all features of new Apple pencil. 5 |

The Auray Wireless Charger with Case for Rode Wireless GO and Wireless GO II has been a nice little wireless charger. It's compact, well-made, and comes with a little case so it's easy to toss in a bag and not worry about anymore. For my purposes, I only use this with a wireless charger and it works great. The fewer cords I deal with the better. I saw some comments on the cords and I have a bunch of USB A to C cords so I haven't run into any issues. All-in-all this works great for what I need it to do.
