The Auray Wireless Charger with Case for Rode Wireless GO and Wireless GO II has been a nice little wireless charger. It's compact, well-made, and comes with a little case so it's easy to toss in a bag and not worry about anymore. For my purposes, I only use this with a wireless charger and it works great. The fewer cords I deal with the better. I saw some comments on the cords and I have a bunch of USB A to C cords so I haven't run into any issues. All-in-all this works great for what I need it to do. I've had this for a few weeks, and it's now my go-to outdoor area light. Whether I'm working on vehicles, cleaning out a snowblower carb, or wiring power to an outlet by the driveway, it's so convenient to be able to skip the extension cord. The multiple power levels are nice, since full-chooch is too bright to look toward comfortably. The flip-up kickstand/handle has very positive detents, and makes the light easy to carry when hauling an armfull of tools. The focusing optics go nice and wide for area lighting, or tight-beam if you can't have the light right where you're working (up on a ladder, for instance). This light charges from a standard micro-USB. At first glance, I thought that was goofy. Then I thought of another worklight I have that takes a special-sized tip on a wall charger. I haven't used the other one in years, because I lost it's charger. Win for Coast! I can charge this thing anywhere. Snow doesn't affect it, and I don't expect problems come summer. 5 |
