The SanDisk 1TB Extreme PRO Portable SSD V2 is the perfect size for my photographic backups during my travels both nationally and internationally. Within this past year, I had purchased two SanDisk 1TB Extreme Portable USB 3.1 Type-C External SSD drives and am totally satisfied with their performance. The SanDisk 1TB Extreme PRO Portable SSD V2 offers more rapid read speeds, up to 2000 MB/s, as opposed to 550 MB/s with my previous purchase. SanDisk (now owned by Western Digital) made an extraordinary move by creating this product. I would not hesitate purchasing more of the same (or similar) in the future, especially when B&H offers them at an exceptional price point.

I recently got my hands on the Lexar 1TB ARMOR 700 Portable SSD, and I have to say, I'm thoroughly impressed! First off, the size comparison blew me away. It's about the same size as a credit card and much slimmer than my old Toshiba Canvio portable SSD, which is more than twice as thick. This compact design makes it super easy to carry around without adding bulk to my bag. Performance-wise, this little powerhouse packs a punch. I've been able to back up and access my files in no time, which is perfect for my on-the-go lifestyle. Whether I'm working on a project or storing my favorite movies and music, the 1TB capacity ensures I have more than enough space. What really sets the Lexar ARMOR 700 apart is its durability. This SSD is water and shock-resistant, so I never have to worry about it getting damaged during my travels or outdoor adventures. In short, if you're looking for a reliable, fast, and compact portable SSD, the Lexar 1TB ARMOR 700 is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend it!

I purchased this case for my SanDisk Extreme 600 1TB SSD drive. It is not a snug fit but it certainly serves the purpose well.

This 1TB Western Digital portable hard disk drive was obtained for the purpose of providing system-wide data backup for an Apple iMac. It served the purpose perfectly. After after a very quick delivery of the product it was simply a matter of plugging it into the iMac (with the included USB cable). The OS X software immediately recognized the device and, after asking if it was appropriate, configured and started the backup software to use it. It was plug 'n play in action.
