The Kingston A400 - 120GB Solid State Drive Is much faster than the standard SSD that came in my gaming computer. I feel like the drive really improves the speed and quality of my computer. I recently got a SanDisk 1TB SSD (Solid State Drive) and used a drive cloning device to clone my old 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to the new SSD. It works wonders in my 15 year old computer! It really speeds up drive-related activities, perhaps as much as 3 or 4 times faster. I think my old HP laptop computer is either a SATA or SATA II type, so I suspect those with a SATA III system would see even better speed results when going from a HDD to a SSD. Gotta love it! 5 |

This is an extremely reliable and easy to use Solid State Drive. Once initialized it's easy to clone form a Hard Disk Drive to this unit. Take out the old drive, insert this drive, and put your seat belt on. 5 |

I've used OWC SSDs before, and I bought another one to replace a Sandisk SSD that died after 4 years. Unlike other brands, 120GB is actually 120GB of usable space. 5 |

I just transferred 120GB of data from 2x Sandisk 300MB/s SD cards in under 5 minutes. See screenshot attached to my review. I'm using an M1 Mac with a Thunderbolt/USB4 port. So yes, it's fast. Also, it's in a metal housing, so it's built to last. Compared to the competition: it's 35% cheaper than the Sony and it does the same thing. Compared to the ProGrade, well, it doesn't have a magnet which I view as a huge positive, as magnets & electronics don't mix! 5 |
