Sapphire Projector Screen Brackets

The Leica M11-P doesn't need a screen protector with its sapphire crystal glass, but I opted for one anyway. Expert Shield provides helpful 'Easy as ABC tips; however, I didn't have tape around to use as a hinge. Instead, before peeling off the factory screen protector, I put on some nitrile powder-free gloves and laid the Expert Shield screen protector on top to get a sense of how it aligns. Once I used a rocket-shaped air-blower to make everything dust free, as well as peeled the factory screen protector and the Expert Shield screen protector backing, I just made sure the left edges lined up parallel in the position I wanted then dropped it. Nothing seemed to happen in the first couple seconds, then the Expert Shield screen protector began to adhere and settle on its own onto the Leica M11-P's sapphire crystal glass from the upper right corner towards the bottom left corner, slowly pushing a huge air bubble that shrinks in size and eventually gets pushed out as it goes. Talk about trusting the process! The Expert Shield installs itself resulting in a smooth, crystal clear application. No dust. No bubbles. 5 |

This product was used to mount projector screens. The brackets were so easy to use, durable, yet light enough to handle over head, and the end result was a nice finished look. 5 |

This mount includes all kinds of screws, spacers, and brackets for installing any sort of projector. Mount was sturdy, easy to install, and flexible enough to get it positioned exactly right. Looks clean when finished. What more do you want in a mount? 5 |

Using this to decode an NDI source to a projector in Church services with live stream. We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed. It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone). This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us. 5 |

This thing worked great. This is just what I needed to get my screen up and another screen to my projector up at the same time in my sanctuary. This was great. 5 |

I have always loved the quality of RRS L brackets and this one exceeded my expectations. I have never liked or trusted L brackets for flip screen cameras because of the weak split part of the brackets in portrait orientation, they normally flex and feel unsafe to use but RRS has perfected the problems the others have. This design while still having the split to accommodate the A7IV flip screen, it is very robust and can lock into a tripod with no flexing at all for a very secure mount. Are RRS brackets pricey? Yes. But you get what you pay for and I can say this one is absolutely worth it if you plan to use your A7IV in portrait orientation on a tripod. It is worth having the full L bracket rather than just the base plate. 5 |

I'm extremely satisfied with this l-bracket. I've owned a bracket since I had my 5D Mark II and this has been the best. First, it's the lightest. L-brackets add a lot of bulk to your camera already; it's nice of they don't add weight. Maybe the weight of one doesn't seem like much, but it depends on what you're carrying. I appreciate and noticed the weight reduction immediately. Second, it's well milled. Of all the ones I've owned, this one seems to be milled to tightest specifications. One bracket didn't quite fit to Arca-Swiss specifications on one side. The finish is also very nice. L-brackets for these cameras are not cheap; this is easily the nicest I've owned. So, let's talk tilty-flippy screen. Yes, it gets in the way of some movement. I'm a stills shooter, so not a huge issue for me. Still, I'd say roughly 90% of positions are still achievable. When out all the way, to go from facing up to down you have to retract the screen some, rotate orientation, and then fully articulate the screen out again. I think if you did this often. It would become second nature and wouldn't even notice. I also owned a ProMediaGear l-bracket. It allowed unrestricted screen movement, but at the cost of size, weight, and quality. That bracket was bulky. Maybe if I did video all the time, I wouldn't notice? I walk around and take stills, often with manual lenses. The design of that bracket impedes accessing controls on lenses. Especially problematic if you're wearing gloves. I highly recommend this product. My estimation is it is probably the most functional and polished of all those available. 5 |
