I have them on my car keys, in my wallet, even on my dog (she tends to wander off sometimes. I can eventually find them both visually and by sound. 5 |

Within 5 minutes I had the camera out of the box and into the fish tank. Then it was on the dog. The horse. The car. Me. The SJ4000 didn't disappoint me in all the ways I wanted to use it straight out of the box. The onboard firmware is very clean and tidy, the power button changes between modes while navigating menus is accomplished with the volume and shutter buttons. Plugging it into a USB port on the pc presents you with 2 options, either to use it as USB storage or as a live PC camera (webcam). Both of these functioned flawlessly. All and all the interface and use of the camera is simple enough to appeal to non-tech savvy people, but also presents some more detailed options/configurations for those that like to tinker. The included accessories provide an easy means to adapt the mounting of the camera to various objects, but you'll need a separate accessory pack to take it to the next level. The camera in its water tight case feels extremely sturdy, but also very light weight. In addition to being dunked in a water tank, my camera has suffered multiple drops as well and come out perfectly fine. The image quality really shines in bright light, but you can get passable performance in low light conditions. I filmed my wife working her horse just as the sun was setting low on the horizon and found it to be acceptable. Anything less than the light of a bright sunny day causes color correction issues that the auto-balance doesn't seem to account for. For example, I walked the dog late in the evening and my purple shorts came out in the video as a soft blue. Unrelated to image issues the only other quality concern was audio, with the water tight case the audio is mostly muted and without the case it has a very minor 'tinny' sound that distorts the audio. Despite some of the shortcomings, which I think of as being very minor, I really like this product. Next week I strap it to a friend's 1000 dollar RC car. 5 |

... that i have ever owned. this elegant camera marker is perfectly balanced, packed tightly with quality sand (i assume), and perfectly suited for marking even the most difficult camera positions — beginning of dolly track, end of dolly track, and an infinite possibility of positions in between. its low profile when prone ensures it can be used inside dolly track as well, with plenty of clearance for every dolly i can think of. the expertly crafted grommet protects the nylon circular perforation from fraying despite continued use. the grommet’s distance from the top, left, and right edges of the marker allow for efficient and convenient portability using a carabiner, twine loop, or broken coat hanger. grommet can also be used to helicopter the marker on a pencil (please observe proper safety protocols; pencil not included). the hue can be described as a true blue and is accurately depicted in the photographs. goes well with a blue t-bag actor marker, sausage markers of alternate colors, and a frosty milk stout (after hours). this slender marker will be the perfect addition to your camera assistant’s AKS kit or gear belt. pros: blue lies on ground cons: not made of actual sausage 5 |

It's like a glove compartment in a car. You can stuff it with anything from weights to accessories you need to have at reach arm. 5 |

I really enjoy taking pictures on vacation. When we do car trips, I usually take my SLR with an assortment of lenses and accessories. For flights, I don't want to bring a lot of heavy gear and find this ZS100 to be a great alternative. The pictures are nearly of SLR quality and it has the flexibility to cover almost every shooting situation. All this in a really compact form factor. If you are willing to go a little bigger, then a Sony RX10 III or IV would be my next choice, but I wasn't willing to give up the small size and weight of this Panasonic. 5 |

i'm still outfitting it with accessories, but i've really been loving it so far. super easy to balance and use. using it with a jib, using it with magnetic car mounts, using it freestyle. considering a steadicam style vest for it. it's amazing what is achievable at these price points. and the free app can operate it as a motion-controlled remote, as well as updating firmware, calibrating motors, etc. high payload. really happy with what we're getting with this on our team. 5 |

I had my first Porta Brace back in 2003. I have rated it 5-stars in the past. I can't help but praise only the durability and versatile use of their bags and cases. In my recent rentals of HD cameras, they are all using Porta Brace cases. I am not surprise anymore. The rental package includes all the accessories to the camera, charger, extra batteries, on-camera lights, wireless audio, zoom microphone, audio cables, extra tapes, manual, tripod accessories, they all fit perfectly in the case. It's like I throw everything in the case and I still safely find a spot in the case. Granted that the shoulder strap is wide, soft, comfortable and durable, it get's heavy at times but it feels solid to lug around. This CAR-3 Cargo Case did just that. It has now become my everyday case to carry around my camera and accessories. It has become a single item in my checklist since when I open the bag, I already memorized what item should be in the certain pocket or position inside. When I pack-up my staff in the field, it is the same case, I check the pockets to make sure that I am not leaving from the location without any accessories left behind. I give Porta Brace CAR-3 Cargo Case 5-Star rating for overall versatility, durability, and practical everyday use. 5 |
