Scanning Receipts Into Quickbooks Online

It is worth the few hundred dollars. especially surprised at the ease of use and scanning receipts

I have been searching for a scanner that is easy to setup as well as easy to use. The scanner came well packaged to protect against damage in shipment. The instructions provide were easy to follow and the software you download is very user friendly. I use a MacBook and most hardware you purchase is not compatible with them. This scanner is not only compatible but it works very well with them. The scanner was also very easy to setup the wireless feature according to the directions. I also like the size of this scanner, my desk is pretty full so having a compact design was a plus for me. Literally it took about 5 minutes to get it out of the box and setup and fully functioning. I use a scanner to put in my receipts for my small business. Within minutes of taking it out of the box I was scanning in my receipts. It has a nice size touch screen that you can choose where to send your scanned documents or whatever you are scanning to. The options include your computer, iCloud, as well as a thumb drive. My favorite feature on this scanner is the ability to input data and integrate it with quick books which is a huge time saver for me. After using this scanner for a couple weeks I can say it is excellent for any home office or business. It makes scanning documents, receipts, business cards and other loose documents a snap. The scanner includes software to convert documents to editable/searchable documents. So far my experience with this feature is that it works pretty well and the OCR works as good or better than others out there. For receipts, in particular, I like it because it can identify dates, amounts and other key pieces of information so making it easier to categorize and process/save them in my accounting software. Overall, it works very well, is very easy to use, and is perfect for certain kinds of scanning. Initial set-up was mostly trouble-free. The scanner has a battery so it can be used without a nearby electrical connection once charged up, which takes about an hour initially. It can be charged through a USB 2 or 3 port, but the whole beauty of this thing is that it connects to your wireless network so that it can be located anywhere within range of the network. Once you get this document scanner set up and running, it works great. And, if you're like me, you have lots and lots of paper documents taking up lots and lots of room. Once you've converted them to data files, you can shred the paper files and turn them into confetti. I am in love with this Wireless Document Scanner. I am very, very happy with this Epson Duplex Document Scanner. I've used different brand scanners over the years, from flatbed, to handheld to desktop but they always end up disappointing me. this one surprised me a lot, no problems with jams, connection issues, etc. It was easy to set up and does a great job! definitely the technology every day advances more and more. In our office we digitize all of our paperwork from receipts and accounting policies and their safeguarding in our system is quickly, It has a good speed, and produces nice PDFs. we prefer to keep digital copies of most documents and recycle the paper. I just want to easily scan and this works really awesome. This Duplex Document Scanner has out-performed my expectations at this point, it is so fast, and the scans are perfectly aligned. it feeds flawlessly with a great image. even with the long skinny receipts with no issues at all. The actual scanning process is a sight to behold speedwise, even scanning double sidded doesn't slow down the unit. The program supplied is powerful and I like that I can make profiles for different types of scans. I highly recommend this scanner for heavy volume use. This is the best scanner I have received. Set up was easy and fast. The software was easy to install. I wanted to give it a try on both different devices so I installed on my Mac and as well on windows, it works really well. It is compact, and reasonably portable, but heavier than expected. If you need to carry a scanner with you, this is a good choice. I scanned a number of types of documents, including several receipts. The scanning quality is very good and you can adjust the resolution as you need. I love that it's just one touch to scan receipts, invoices, and other items, it makes it really easy to stay organized and not get buried under the amount of paper. I'm mainly using this for paper and documents but I was surprised to find that it also works really well for photographs. So far so good. Scans documents and receipts very well. Also, love the app that's capable with scanning receipts.

This Epson Worforce Es-300WR scans receipts, business cards, documents and has a card reader also to scan id's or business cards with the flip of the slider on top of scanner. Included is Epson Scan Smart Accounting Edition Software and has fastest scanning speeds in its class! (This is a claim and inherently to tell you they nailed it!) This thing scans quickly and has no trouble scanning multiple documents, which gets that stack of receipts off your desk and where they need to be. Have a document that is two-sided? No problem the Epson Workforce has gotcha covered simultaneously scanning both sides at once and operating this from my android phone is a breeze downloaded the app and I was ready to go, with scanned documents and receipts popping up instantly! Theres so much packed into this tiny bundle of awesomeness... Great versatile scanner. Need to find setting for scanning super long receipts saved to memory card w/o computer connected. Wish Brother would provide a hardshell case option. 3rd party cases appear not available.

Wow, what an amazing scanner! I do lots of scanning for my job, including receipts, photos, and documents and this scanner handles them all with ease. I have tried a number of scanners in the past, both manual load and auto document feed and the FF-680W is so much nicer to use than all of them it really makes my job easier. Scanning photos is certainly where it shines, flying through stacks of them in seconds and even at higher resolution it still takes only seconds to get through them. Some of the other ADF scanners I have used could not handle the small two- and half-inch photos, but this scanner had no issues, it even scans front and back of the photo at the same time so you don’t lose the notes on the back. I think I am most impressed by how well this scanner handles receipts. Clearly full-page ones are no issue, but the small, folded up thermal ones that come from some many stores are usually a recipe for disaster with ADF scanners, but the 680W flew through my stacks of them with no jams and the software even recognized it was scanning receipts which was really cool. Overall this scanner is really well thought out, it is compact, wireless, passes the documents/photos/etc. through with very little bend to the document which I think helps this perform so well. Image quality is very good, scan speed is ridiculously fast, and the Epson software has worked great. It took less than 10 minutes from opening the box to my first scan. They even thought to provide a quite long power cord which is great since this is a wireless scanner so you can place it easily where you want. I would highly recommend this scanner to anyone that has lots of photos to scan or needs a versatile scanner for documents and expense tracking as well.
