Scratching Noise From Yamaha Studio Monitor

If you need a passive near field studio monitor a little like Yamaha NS10s but with a nicer sound these are your babies! They have low distortion and a really nice high end and not harsh but also retain a very workable low end which makes mixing a breeze. I use them everyday as a mixer in Los Angeles.

For the price, this is a fantastic device. I can't hear any noise through my studio monitor headphones until i ramp up the gain so high it would distort anyway if I tried to play anything through it. So, essentially a great buy. It interfaces well with my 2007 Macbook Pro with MAC OSX 10.6. Instrument plugins in the same position as the xlr inputs make it compact.

I use my Lavalier Mic out in the wild hunting and had lots of wind noise as well as scratching from the layers of clothing I wear on the mic.... until I got this little magic noise reducer! Love this product and recommend it to anyone that does any out door work!

We use this for nearly all of our 1-person studio setups. Noise rejection is superb, low noise floor.

This little mixer is fantastic! All he features of much more expensive stuff. All backed, of course with the legendary quality of Yamaha! The potentiometers (buttons, not sliders) are excellent quality, and the noise level is almost inexistent. The preamplifiers for microphones, (channels 1 to 4) ARE very, very low noise, and the effects on board are very satisfactory too. In resume, this mixer is a very good deal, buck for the bang.

I had read some disturbing posts regarding the Small Rig cage scratching the Ninja monitor/recorder, so I'd decided to give the 8Sinn a try. It fits perfectly with a solid connection to the monitor, and I am happy that I had ordered this in place of the alternative.

As a long time user of KRK and Yamaha studio monitors -,I was blown away by the Sound reproduction of the 8010s! ..These little marvels have now replaced both my Yamaha HS5 and KRK rockit 5”s as my go to mixing monitors for music and film projects .,, could not be happier ..
