Upgraded from my 10 yr old Samsung UHD 50” to this new OLED model. What an amazing picture. The non-reflective screen is great for bright rooms or not wanting to see couch side lamps reflected in screen. Truly stunning color and almost painful brightness. Samsung Plus TV channels are a nice add on along with apps like Pluto, Prime Video and others. We pair ours with AppleTV 4K and an Integra 8.5 DRX entertainment system. It’s a great TV. Checkout Greentoe for a great deal too.. I saved a ton. 5 |

Pros: Very fast startup, Very easy to install using Samsung's Data Migration Software. I installed the 850 PRO by migrating my boot HDD to the 850 PRO and replacing the HDD (my C: drive) with the much faster 850 PRO. Everything went very smoothly in my Windows 10 AMD desktop. Cons: Samsung could do a better job on instructing the user on how to prepare the system prior to the start of data migration. For example there should be a set of instructions informing the user to make sure the AHCI driver is loaded on the Windows 10 system prior to the start of data migration. If you don't use AHCI you will not get the maximum performance from your ssd. If you install the AHCI driver after migrating the data to the ssd and then replacing the hdd with the ssd, you may lose the ability to boot the computer from the ssd. Windows 10 does not install the AHCI driver in a fresh install of Windows 10. Samsung should have step by step instructions on what to do to make sure we get best performance for which the ssd was designed. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So Bright! Easy set up. Perfect for gaming and watching movies. I was hesitant to buy a new TV because I really did not need one. Oh boy was I wrong! This tv makes everything look amazing. The TV is also future proof for gamers. It can run up to 144 hz at 4k! Consoles can only run 120 hz. So this tv won't fall behind when the new consoles lauch around the corner. My only wish is that samsung will add Dolby vision support. There is not much HDR10+ support and samsung either needs to fix it or except the decision they made and cut loses. On the next remote please include a source button. I get tired of having to click so many buttons to switch sources. Other than that this TV is 10/10 amazing!!! 5 |
