The sound quality is great and maybe is the best portable sound recorder. You're able to record audio in separated channels. 5 |

I bought the cable to be able to record directly from my computers mini audio output jack to record in stereo to an anolog strereo tape recorder. The y connector with rca connectors works perfectly to connect to the stereo rca inputs on the tape recorder. This cable is a great way to sove many different audio interconnection problems It is a great cable to have on hand. 5 |

We bought the Voco Pro SDR-4000 Audio recorder to record sermons, it operates similar to the dual cassette tape recorders except it records with better quality. Since it records in MP3 format it is easy to burn to CD. It can use USB memory sticks or SD memory cards so it is convenient to use. 5 |

I'm using this to monitor audio running from my H4n to a hacked GH2. I record on both the camera and recorder for redundancy. I tend to use the audio straight into the camera and use the H4n file as the backup. The quality sounds great!. I thought the monitor volume might be an issue but seems strong enough and has not been a problem as of now. If you want to save yourself some time syncing later then do yourself a favor and pick up this cable! 5 |

I'm amazed that this zoom recorder does so much for such a cheap price. The gain dials work great and there is an attenuation switch right next to each dial so you don't have to go into the menu if things get super loud. I was using the Roland r-26. The zoom does a few things that the Roland can not. It has 2 extra XLR inputs. You can control which channel you hear in the headphones and how loud it is in relation to other channels. I have the stereo mics that come with the zoom set to 5 on the gain dial and leave it there to record the same audio that my cameras are recording so I can sync the audio easily later. I turn the volume of that channel down to mute in the headphones so I don't have to hear it over the audio I'm actually trying to record with the XLR mics. The recorded audio sounds great. On one shoot I forgot my Shotgun mic and was forced to use the stereo mics that come with the Zoom. The audio was quite good. If you shoot in the studio like I do, this doesn't come with an ac power supply but it does come with the mini usb cord. You can find a cheap phone charger at any electronics store that will work with this recorder. I couldn't find a longer usb cord anywhere so I use an extension cord. The only thing I wish the zoom and every other recorder I've tried would do differently is give the option for all of the recorded files to end up in a single folder. Every time I hit record it sticks the files in a new folder. Then I have to manually open every folder to drag the files into premiere. 5 |

Great connection and great audio quality. I use these to connect my H4N recorder to speakers or to record a line feed from an audio board. 5 |

This recorder is perfect for 2 tasks of mine. The first is for mystery shops where I have to record audio during entire visit to a car wash. So much better than a smartphone. The second is in conjunction with a video camera. The camera does not have a good microphone. The recorder produces high resolution stereo mp3 files. 5 |

As someone who is new to audio, the Zoom H5 Handy Recorder can seem intimidating in comparison to it's younger sibling, the Zoom H1 Handy Recorder. I was looking for something portable and powerful enough (48v, to be specific) to record on-the go audio for a podcast which sometimes has guests. This product was a perfect fit for just that. It picks up great audio and has various settings to enhance the overall sound depending on your conditions and what you're trying to record. My one concern when purchasing this was Wow, that looks really complex and for audio tech's. but after speaking with an Audio Pro through B&H they reassured me that even though it looks intimidating, the product is very simple to use. After the products arrival I unbox it and turn it on - it took a while to figure out what everything does, the manual isn't very specific or newbie-friendly. After looking up some videos on Youtube I was able to find a quick tutorial on what all of the buttons do and how to get started with recording. So overall learning curve? Just a ten minute video for me and an additional ten minutes just playing around with the settings. I definitely highly recommend this to any newbie/pro. 5 |

I'm a full-time professional photographer, and I am using the Zoom recorder to record the field audio and interview audio for my first documentary film. It's easy to learn, lightweight, portable, and mounts conveniently to the top of my DSLR with the hot-shoe mount. The sound quality is great for what I need. 5 |
