Screen Recording Software For Windows 7 32 Bit

If you don't have a dedicated audio person, 32 bit's awesome. Set your levels to anywhere near the correct ballpark and then it's one less thing to worry about during the recording. The F3's a well designed and solid feeling piece of gear. All of the controls are recessed a little, so they're less likely to get accidentally pressed/bumped/scraped. Locking XLR connectors. Easy to use interface/controls/settings. Decent mounting options (between the belt loops and 1/4 thread on the bottom). Very happy with it. My only minor gripes are that you can't change your recording levels after you've started recording, but with 32 bit, it has such range that I really can't imagine ever needing to change them. Also there was a little plastic pull tab/sticker on the screen (as if to help remove a plastic film cover over the screen). But there was no plastic film cover on my screen, so when I removed that little pull tab/sticker, I was left with sticky goo on the screen :(

I’ve been using IK Multimedia audio software for years on a Windows PC platform. This was my first hardware purchase in order to use my iPad as a portable recording studio. You can use the iRig HD 2 to get extremely low latency when using and recording with your iOS apps (and also Windows PC platform) but my primary reason for this purchase is to have a robust yet compact portable audio interface for recording my guitar. IK Multimedia is well known for being makers of high quality audio software and hardware and this inexpensive interface is no different. It’s made of robust plastic and will allow you to connect to a several connecting ports like iOS lightning interface, USB, USB-C and also comes with the necessary cables for each! I plug my guitar into the iRig and run a cable from the amp output direct to my amp. I then plug a lightning cable from the iRig to my iPad. I use an app from Jam Origin called MIDI Guitar 2 which allows me to use my guitar as a real-time MIDI controller to then play my virtual synths. I then run the headphone output of my iPad to the monitors for the accompanying sounds. This is a great inexpensive interface that you will get a lot of mileage from.

The absolute most best feature possible on any product is the 32-bit float audio recording . It's basically like a RAW audio set your levels once and forget about it whether it's really low or really high audio you are able to recover it

32 bit is the future. When you're performing and recording, you don't have to worry about level settings. The pre amps are great, the most effortless recording job I've done!

Like all of Zoom's products it is very simple to use. I have used two of Sennheiser's AVX-MKE2 wireless mics and a Rode NTG3 shotgun mic all connected at the same time and the F6 works great!! If I need to use more than these three mics I'll have to get some XLR adapters to take my receivers out away from the F6 otherwise they won't fit. A bit cramped as is. The reason to get the F6 is for the 32 bit floating audio recording. I recently did a shoot with the above setup. I had one sound guy to help me out on the shoot. We set the recording level about where we thought would work well. The files were set to record separate tracks. Not all mixed together. My sound guy had to run boom so it would have been impossible to run boom and mix audio at the same time. We'll with 32-bit floating we didn't have to worry about it. When I got back to the studio and did my edits there were a few sections of the audio recordings that had peaked when people were laughing or talked really loud. No problem. I just dropped the gain down on that section of the waveform and the audio sounds great. No distortion. Love this device! It is a real game changer!

The MixPre6 II is solid and the 32 bit Float recording option is very handy especially for recording on the fly. The deck has fantastic preamps and while there are many menus I find it logical and easy to use and customize. For full effectiveness though, there is a learning curve and Sound Devices help desk is very helpful with questions. I recommend also looking at websites and postings from those who use the deck as understanding how to use and how to power the deck will best help anyone decide if this is the best model for their needs. I'm not a huge fan of the Strut Case which I find ok but I prefer the similar but slightly more intuitively designed Porta Brace case.

I previously bought the F2-BT and really enjoy the attitude that 32-bit float recording gives me. Since my H4N finally died after over a decade of hard use, I wanted to replace it, but with a 32-bit option. While this does not have the on-board mics, my use was usually around the recording of XLR mics so this is perfect. After I got the device, I tried it out with a drummer and was able to perfectly recover even the loudest and closest crashes. I'm very happy with the device, the delivery, and the site. There are only two things I'd like improved. I can't connect to the bluetooth device unless I restart the F3 and I can't find a way to transfer the files without taking the card out.

If you don't care about timecode, then there are cheaper 32 bit recorders from Tascom and Zoomcorp that do the same job. If you already use Tentacle Sync's to jam your field recorders and cameras or lay down a TC track on a mixer these things are wonderful. When you first get one, set recording to 32 bit. For some reason, it comes with 24 bit set. Given you can't monitor the recording in the US version, just set it to 32 bit and forget it. You can process the recording in post. Name it something. Unlike other recorders, this guy prepends the filename with the name of the device. This is a really, really handy feature. And make sure your mics and sync devices are all powered on and connected to the app when you press the sync to this button. You can do it later, but all at once feels easier to me. Great for filming interviews and scripts. I've also sprinkled a few around during live events to capture additional sound. Basically the same use cases as other recording lav devices, only when dropping it on the timeline, sync by timecode is faster and more reliable than sync by waveform. And far less frustrating than sync by hand.
