I already had the VLC media player ap installed on my windows 10 laptop, so when I plugged this into my USB port straight from the box, it was recognized and functioned immediately. If your computer doesn't have a driver, Transcend provides one free, but you must download one in order to use external drives--perhaps that's why some users claim their player wouldn't work? 5 |

The pre-amp works great. Just got it, hooked up with no issues and have recorded multiple albums. Better than directly connecting a receiver to the laptop. Works with Windows 10. Windows 10 automatically detects it and starts up the proper USB audio codec. Found I needed to use my normal sound device for playback with my Toshiba laptop. B&H once again delivers quickly. I highly recommend both. 5 |

super lightweight (the lightest 14 maybe?), excellent battery life and performance. I don't experience the USB disconnect (a floppy drive?!) that the other reviewer spoke about. This laptop comes with Windows 11 not Windows 10 as per the other reviewer rant. However, this laptop does try to force Amazon on you, but you can remove that. I appreciate the 16:10 screen, it's bright, and not reflective, perfect for actually doing work. extra large trackpad is responsive. USB-C charging is convenient and fast. Loaded Roblox for my kids, the integrated graphics actually can easily handle Roblox. speakers are pretty good, work as expected for a laptop. 5 |
