Feeding Audio from A recorder to a Video camera.

I am new to dSLR video recording and therefore also new to audio recording. A friend told me to get an external audio recorder and a mic. Audio is at least 50% of a video recording. Audio is often the part people don't pay enough attention to and make the video below par. So I told the advise and got a Zoom H4n and the Rode NTG-2. The combination works well. Since the NTG-2 is self powered, with the right cable I can also hook it up directly to the dSLR.

The screen size is awesome and the audio and video is beautiful!

Using this to decode an NDI source to a projector in Church services with live stream. We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed. It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone). This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us.

Seamless integration with my Windows 11 laptop. Zoom connected to it and I was able to use my D780 for both audio and video with no problems.

Using to digitize analog audio from lzx video synthesizer. Using with a windows 10 computer software is premiere pro. Works great! Was a little worried reading other reviews, there have been a couple instances when a reboot was necessary to recognize the hardware, but all in all, it works!
