I've used other products, but have never found a more reliable and speedy hard drive than Seagate. I have a 500GB and a 1.5TB and they run just fine. This 2TB is a welcome addition. 5 |

The Western Digital 1.5TB external hard drive is an easy way to gain tons of storage space at a low cost. Just take it out of the box and plug it in. I've used it to back up all my photos and files that I could never replace. 5 |

My 3 TB Seagate External Hard Drive went along with 80000 images. I was devastated . Luckily I had done GoodSync Backup and was able to get all my images back onto this 6 TB WD External Hard Drive. I bought two of these , the second one for backup. I plan to buy a third to keep off site. 5 |

The hard drive in my Dell 620 (Seagate ST31000524AS) was failing ... causing slow operation and repeatedly throwing reports of disk errors, bad sectors, etc. despite my attempts at repair using a variety of programs. After finally getting a successful disk image from the original drive using Macrium Reflect, I swapped the drives and loaded the disk image onto this replacement. On restart my PC booted right up from this drive and it's been running like new since. 5 |

gutted the 1.5TB hard drive in this, put it into my drobo, and took a 500gb wd green and put it in this enclosure. works just fine. i like the fact that the enclosure is nice and minimal, no gaudy neon lights or whirring fans, which are completely uneccesary in hard drive enclosures. 5 |

What's not to like? A name brand hard drive with 1.5tb of storage space.A few years ago owning a 1.5tb drive would have been a dream, but now they are almost giving them away. I shoot 14bit RAW and save the files as TIFFs so there's no such thing as too big when it comes to hard drives.Had this not been B&H I would have thought that there was some sort of catch involved. Nope. ...I liked it so much I ordered a second one. 5 |
