Western Digital are my go to hard drives. I purchased four of these 6TB drives to use with disk carrier for backing up my LR images. Fast and so far no problems. My experience with WD disks has always been great. 5 |

The hard drive in my Dell 620 (Seagate ST31000524AS) was failing ... causing slow operation and repeatedly throwing reports of disk errors, bad sectors, etc. despite my attempts at repair using a variety of programs. After finally getting a successful disk image from the original drive using Macrium Reflect, I swapped the drives and loaded the disk image onto this replacement. On restart my PC booted right up from this drive and it's been running like new since. 5 |

Seagate did as advertised. It was truly plug and play, with no reformatting, hard disk erasures, or special apps. Whether one is not inclined to do extra operations ,or maybe not prepared, Seagate solves our problems. Great product. 5 |

I just added the WD 4TB Elements External Desktop Hard Disk Drive to my� back up solution (6 hard drives) and Windows 10.� I disconnected the power and USB cable from a full WD hard drive and replaced it with this new drive and fired it up. It works great, just like I would expect from Western Digital. 5 |

I'm replacing my old external hard drives with SSD. This is working very well and I can't get over how small it is. I just wish they also made a 6TB model as I still have one more old style to upgrade! This is how I label mine so I can tell which one is which. 5 |
