The hard drive in my Dell 620 (Seagate ST31000524AS) was failing ... causing slow operation and repeatedly throwing reports of disk errors, bad sectors, etc. despite my attempts at repair using a variety of programs. After finally getting a successful disk image from the original drive using Macrium Reflect, I swapped the drives and loaded the disk image onto this replacement. On restart my PC booted right up from this drive and it's been running like new since. 5 |

At first I was skeptical with the dimensions that my Seagate 2TB External Hard Drive would fit into this case. I called the store and the gentleman assured me it would. So, I got it. Seagate did as advertised. It was truly plug and play, with no reformatting, hard disk erasures, or special apps. Whether one is not inclined to do extra operations ,or maybe not prepared, Seagate solves our problems. Great product. 5 |

I just added the WD 4TB Elements External Desktop Hard Disk Drive to my� back up solution (6 hard drives) and Windows 10.� I disconnected the power and USB cable from a full WD hard drive and replaced it with this new drive and fired it up. It works great, just like I would expect from Western Digital. 5 |

I have been using these drives in my external disk arrays with RAID1 software driven backup. They are awesome for media servers and over the years I have had only 1WD drive failure. I went to WD after having 4 Seagate drives fail in a row. BH always provides great pricing. 5 |

Since this device is so new, the device driver for Wi-Fi and Ethernet is not in the installation software for the operating system. You must connect an external USB Wi-Fi so that it can download the device driver from the internet. Other than this hiccup, everything works fine. I bought three. 5 |

My 3 TB Seagate External Hard Drive went along with 80000 images. I was devastated . Luckily I had done GoodSync Backup and was able to get all my images back onto this 6 TB WD External Hard Drive. I bought two of these , the second one for backup. I plan to buy a third to keep off site. 5 |
