Seagate Portable 2Tb External Hard Drive Review

At first I was skeptical with the dimensions that my Seagate 2TB External Hard Drive would fit into this case. I called the store and the gentleman assured me it would. So, I got it. This case provides the protection I need to carry my External Hard Drive from one location to another and with the hard-shell design, I can have confidence that my external hard drive will function when I plug it in to my laptop.

I bought the Seagate 2tb plus slim external hard drive and this case fit it perfectly. Also, it has a little pouch to keeps my usb wire. Its small enough so that I don’t have to carry around anything bulky with me but big enough to fit some other accessories I might need when I carry around my external hard drive. I love the color and it fits of course in my bag without taking up much room and also fits in the inside of my jacket. I really like how quickly it was delivered and packaged safely. All around a great buy. Recommend it to anyone needed to protect their hard drive.

The Seagate 2TB Backup Plus Slim external hard drive is small and convenient to carry. Also, it holds a lot of data for its small size. In the two months I've owned it, it has worked perfectly.

It is made with a durable metal enclosure, so it's protected from bumps and drops. It is so easy to transfer files to and from my desktop. I like how small and portable this product is. The only thing better, maybe, than this 2TB My Passport Portable Hard Drive would possibly be a 3TB hard drive. If you need portability with easy access to your files this is it! B&H has the lowest delivered to your door price anywhere that can be found. Lower prices are advertised but shipping and tax take it up to almost local retail.Have not discovered a downside to this product and doubt I will.Thank You B&H!

I purchased this hard drive to replace a 2TB Seagate Barracuda drive, which was working well but becoming filled with my photos. After copying all the files over, the new 4TB drive works well too. I installed it in my PC as a regular drive, not in some form of backup configuration as mentioned in the description. I purchased this particular unit because it has a very MTBF (mean time between failure) score. The only negative is I can hear the heads clicking as they change position, but the sound is not loud enough to bother me.

I am using this case to store my WD 2TB My Passport External Hard Drive. The cover is semi rigid which provides some protection against accidentally banging the hard drive, although I would not want to drop the hard drive. It also provides a separate area for storing the USB cable which comes with the hard dive. Very convenient.

I keep the WD My Passport Essential 2TB Portable HD connected to my laptop. I store all of my music, movies, pictures and Windows weekly backups on the portable hard drive. This allows me to keep a lot of free space on my laptop HDD. Because of its portability, it is a simple process to take it with me should I wish to have material downloaded from another computer or if I wish to share any files that I have stored on it. I believe this portable hard drive is a truly outstanding product and well woth the cost of purchase.

I use my portable laptop with this 2TB My Passport Portable Hard Drive USB 3.0. It is light and has fast transfer speed when transfer from Samsung Hard drive SSD 830 512GB to this 2TB My Passport Portable Hard Drive. They work great together so my Loptop has room for other application.

I purchased this case for my OWC 2TB portable hard drive. Works great.
