Seasonic Pc Power Supplies

Ive trusted Seasonic for years now.  Their power supplies never disappoint!

This was my first SeaSonic after years of Corsair power supplies. Price was right, silent and reliable. It's overkill for my current system but as these last up to ten years plenty of growth for future builds.

I have been using Seasonic Power Supplies for over 25 years and never had one fail on me. I have a couple of old builds in my garage that were fitted with Corsair's early supplies, both failed so PC's with all new components just got shelved. Not so with Seasonic, I now use SS prime and the occasional Focus. B&H has the best prices I've found and fast delivery.

Some power supplies are quiet most of the time, but the SeaSonic PX-850 is quiet all the time. It lets you opt into having the fan shut off under low load via a physical switch. This is great if you find the fan turning on distracting, instead it will just run slowly when load is low and increasing the speed when under more load.

I have two of these and they both work great. Quietly and cooly provides plenty of power. I am a fan of SeaSonic as my other power supplies from SeaSonic have lasted well beyond their warranties.

I researched many power supplies and this series from Seasonic received rave reviews. It was backordered for a week but after installing it and firing up my new build for the first time, it was quiet and performed flawlessly.

I purchased this unit to upgrade from an existing Seasonic unit of lesser power - which has found continued use in my wife's PC. Simple to install, whisper quiet and reliable - I've stressed the PC (Intel I5-12600K) w/ 64 GB RAM while transcoding video. HWiNFO shows stable voltages that don't budge under load. B&H / Seasonic very quickly resolved an issue where the package was missing a couple of cables. A satisfied customer.
