First, have a pair of tweezers or very small pliers on hand. Second, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Other than that, it's easy, and solid. NOTE: this is NOT meant to switch between lenses. If you have more than one Nikon/Nikkor lens, buy one for each. Once it's on there, you won't want to remove it. You can, just not very easily. Also, this does NOT support any AF or aperature or any other electronics. Manual only. I don't yet know the weather sealing on it, but I'm not about to test it. I think I'll keep this in the studio. I love being able to use my favorite old Nikkor nifty fifty again! 5 |

Commercial photographer, and I bought this for a compact hand luggage travel kit for portraits and other jobs that can be solved with a smaller setup. Love the size, the ring is like assembling tent poles and it even have a 1/4 (I think, I am European) fitting so that you can use it on tripods, and C-stands if you buy an adaper. (should have been included imo) The clips is a bit hard to clip on once you get to the end and get tension on the fabric, so expect a couple of minutes assembling it - and be aware that your fingers might hurt if you do this 20 times a day. But as a travel item? Totally super! Quality seems good also, not flingy at all. 5 |
