First, have a pair of tweezers or very small pliers on hand. Second, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Other than that, it's easy, and solid. NOTE: this is NOT meant to switch between lenses. If you have more than one Nikon/Nikkor lens, buy one for each. Once it's on there, you won't want to remove it. You can, just not very easily. Also, this does NOT support any AF or aperature or any other electronics. Manual only. I don't yet know the weather sealing on it, but I'm not about to test it. I think I'll keep this in the studio. I love being able to use my favorite old Nikkor nifty fifty again! 5 |

Right out of the box this lens gets me sharp images with my Nikon D750. I didn't have make any adjustments. The auto focus is fast. The manual focus is smooth. When getting hand held images, the stabilization works great. It is a heavy lens. I use it on tripods more than hand held. 5 |

Yes this lens is a bit heavy at the hand, but when I took it out of the box the first time, I was blown away by the build quality, the velvet-smooth handling. The focus with my new D750 does hunt a bit, but that may be a change it the focus setting on the D750. A great, clean and solidly built beauty of a lens. Really enjoying the results. 5 |
