Secret Camera For Home With Audio

This adapter is the secret sauce to connect my Rode SC2 to my audio mixer. I can now stream through Zoom my classes and the music is perfect for my students.

It's no secret that most of today's home theater receivers (HTR's) run hot. Sometimes very hot. I installed my rather muscular Denon HTR inside a ventilated cabinet, but it was still running uncomfortably warm (even with plenty of head space), especially when driving my relatively low impedence loudspeakers at relatively high levels.. Once I installed the AIRCOM T8 unit, the receiver never runs any hotter than about 82 F. Usually, the T8 fans run at their lowest speed (I use the T8's AUTO setting). Now and then they'll speed up when very demanding material is played. Personally I've never found the fan noise to intrude on the source material. Extremely happy with the T8. Highly recommended.

As anyone like me who researches gear endlessly for hours, when I came across the BMPCC4K I was stunned at all the capability at that price point. If you are looking for a cinema camera that can deliver outstanding results you have found it! Yes, it doesnt have continuous focus or stabilization. But this is a cinema camera! This thing can shoot 4K 60fps lossless raw. The image quality is unmatched. Granted just about all media will only be able to record about 4-7 seconds of 4K 60fps lossless raw before it drops any frames, for most this is overkill. You can shoot 3:1 raw 4K 60fps all day long with no dropped frames on cFast or very cost effective Samsung T5 external drives. Being a cinema camera you will probably most likely have this thing on a rig or sticks most of the time anyways so the stabilization for me is a non issue. I honestly wish I could keep this camera a secret because it is my secret weapon in creating amazing films and I cant stress enough how amazing this camera truly is.

Just what I needed for home stereo audio.

I've had the Smart Camera for about almost a week now and so far we are loving it. We got it mainly to use as a baby monitor, we we came across this one when researching for a video baby monitor; it's really neat that this is a home security camera with a baby monitor mode, so if we ever go on holidays or when our child gets older we can repurpose it. We were hesitant to get it at first, as I have found very few reviews about this product being used as a baby monitor, since it is a newer feature. We went ahead and ordered it because of the features and cost and glad we did! It arrived within a few days and was super easy to set up, including connecting to my Apple home network for Apple HomeKit Secure Video (nice being able to view the camera on the Home app, and even on Apple TV). The baby mode of the camera seems to work really well - the continuous audio function works well to be able to listen to the audio from the camera even when we close out of the app to open a different one or to lock the phone. Haven't used it yet but the activity zones or recording when there's motion seem to be good features. One thing that would be nice on it would be a built in thermometer/humidity reading like many other baby monitors have (I know ecobee has a thermostat and sensors, but living in an apartment don't want to buy the sensors if the thermostat won't be a good investment here).
