Secure Camera Backpack

I’ve had the Peak Design Capture Clip for several years and it’s completely secure and really useful. I use it on a backpack shoulder strap: keeps my camera close at hand without getting in the way. It’s an ideal way to keep my camera available on walks or hikes.

The build quality on this thing is second to none. It's sleep, secure, and intuitive. I hike often and otherwise carry a backpack along with my camera. I also have a toddler that I sometimes have to pickup and carry for distances. This makes exclusive use of a camera strap not ideal, and so the Capture Clip allows me to secure my camera and lens to my left-side backpack strap while I carry my toddler on my right side. I use the additional Pro Pad V2 which provides for a more stable base when using longer/heavier lenses (I found the Pro Pad V2 useful with just the camera itself). I can't recommend the Capture Clip enough.

I attached this to my backpack camera bag shoulder strap. It allows me to keep my hands free and camera secure and ready while I am on the trail or moving from place to place. It has the added benefit of balancing the weight front to back especially when the 70-200 F2.8 is attached to the camera. Perfect for me.

Fulfills my needs perfectly. I plucked the foam out just enough so all I have to do is drop my camera backpack in, along with my tripod and they're both safe and secure. This thing is built like a tank but is surprisingly mobile.

Love how inner pouch is removal, perfect size for my camera backpack, filters fit well and are very secure and well-protected.

I found this backpack after a lot of research, trying to find the best option that combines secure camera storage (for my Canon DSLR, 3-4 lenses) and enough space for extra stuff (like my headphones, cables and chargers, sunglasses, passport, a windbreaker jacket, and a water bottle in the side). This is my second Lowepro backpack and I love it. My 15-inch OMEN fits well into the laptop compartment and keeps safe because there is a gap between the backpack floor and the laptop. It has many compartments to keep the essential things you need for an excursion or a short trip. It is comfortable and practical to remove the camera in a few movements; just a bit rigid the first time I wore it, but I think it takes some time to get used to. Also, the travel strap is useful for use with wheeled luggage.

The organization of this backpack is excellent. The side camera access works great and I love that there is a secure pocket in the back for my wallet. The top portion is a great size and shape to hold non-photography essentials and the flap fastener is very secure. I also love that it has a trolley sleeve. The only downside is that the straps are not ergonomic at all and are oddly stiff, so it is best for packing light. I was able to carry my camera and an extra lens with no problem, but I wouldn't want to use it to carry all my gear around all day.

Amazing backpack for the price. Keeps laptop safe and secure.
