Fast networking, easy installation. Highly recommended. The built-in outlet simplifies finding a place.You have to use Windows if you want to create your own password, but it's way easier to use the self-generating password. Only drawback is that you have to push the password reset button on all units within a couple of minutes. I'm not sure how secure it is, but it has to be more secure than wifi.It occasionally glitches for no apparent reason, but that's still way better than our wifi.speedtest.net says that I'm getting 12Mps down/5Mbps up, with around a 15ms ping time.

The Netgear cable modem CM1000 version 2 has a user name of admin and a password of password which is not secure. I would recommend changing the password. Additionally, the throughput I experienced is about 1.3 gigabytes. I also have a Netgear Nighthawk cm 2000 which has 2.5 gigabytes internet speed and a secure password installed by default. I would recommend the Netgear Nighthawk CM2000 over the Netgear cable modem CM 1000 version 2.

This encrypted flash drive allows you to create a password (7 - 16 digits) that needs to be entered to access it's contents. No device will recognize this flash drive unless the password is entered first. Though there is a simple set of instructions included on how to set Admin and User passwords, I found them a little difficult to follow. The manufacturer, Apricorn, has a YouTube channel. I recommend beginning with the video: Aegis Secure Key 3.0 Tutorial 1: GETTING STARTED. Apricorn's YouTube channel also has easy to follow instructions on how to use the advanced security features of this drive. Once the drive is set up and you are able to open it, the Aegis Secure Key has a user manual in several different languages loaded on it. The Aegis Secure Key drive has a metal body and an internal rechargeable battery. It comes formatted for use on PCs and Android smart televisions. It comes with a thick rubber case that the drive slides into. I've only had mine for a two weeks. But haven't encountered any problems with it. I recommend the Apricorn Aegis Secure Key.

After figuring out how to use it, I am so satisfied with it I bought another one. SanDisk makes a fine product. Also, there is a secure, password protected file as well. I also use SanDisk flash drives for my PC.

Works great and the only thing I had to set up was the option to have a password to protect it if someone else tries to use it.

Easy setup. Easy to change WiFi name and password. Easy to use the app.

If you lose the spotlight password, the instructions do not tell you how to reset the password

First - need a reply feature on the reviews! Got it to work with smartctl by adding -d sat - so that problem is worked around. Another reviewer noted that screws (of the wrong thread) are supplied to secure the drive. This is optional. If the drive is not going to be moving around, it doesn't need them. It is very stable just lying flat. But if you are going to carry it around (say for an offsite backup), then you should secure the drive. I'm getting a steady drive temp of 40°C with room temp of 80°F. An older model enclosure for same brand has a drive with 33°C steady temp. I will try swapping the drives to see whether that difference is the drive or the enclosure.

A lot of reviews say that it's difficult to screw the screws to secure this lid organizer. All you have to do is use your brain. I pre-screwed the screws so that by the time I place the organizer in the case the screws can easily be fitted. Love the extra storage and honestly, I wouldn't even buy the case if this option is not available.

I don’t often write reviews, but when a product comes along that works this well, It only makes sense that I do. I was a huge fan of the Peak Design anchor system, but I really wanted to try these out, and I’m sure glad I did. These are absolutely incredible!! Not only are they extremely secure with their magnets, but they’re so much easier to disconnect and significantly smaller. In fact, they look like they’re almost half the size when side by side. Another thing I love about these is the cord length, making it convenient to secure the anchors around things that the Peak Design anchors simply cannot do. The cord itself is just like the Peak Design cord in that it has colored layers for visual reference when they need to be replaced. All in all, these are a huge win for Falcam. Don’t hesitate and buy these now!! I promise you won’t be disappointed.
