Secure Usb3.0 Hard Drive To Ethernet Adapter

This ethernet adapter works with Roku Streambar and you can just add hard wire connection and it works right away after hooked up. No setting required. Besides Roku, it works with most Android devices (with USB C PD passthrough hub) and Windows. It's basic, but it's pretty good due to perfect compatibility

This is the only way I could connect my 27 in. Thunderbolt Display. The adapter works with any Thunderbolt device: Ethernet adapter, hard drives, etc. Well worth the price.

I bought this WD drive because of the reliability I experienced with their products in the past. I like its small size for the amount of data storage it provides. My main reason for buying an external drive was to provide a secondary backup for my home computers. I also use Adobe CS5 and Lightroom4 to postprocess my photos and wanted to see how editing performance would be affected by modifying those files via the USB3.0 interface. The laptop I'm using has no USB3.0 port so I got an Express Card 34 interface for connecting to this Western Digital drive. The interface must have its auxillary power connected to an available USB2.0 port in order to gain any speed advantage with USB3.0 and is useless without the extra power. I'm experiencing transfer speeds of 30 to 40 MB/s versus 12 to 15 MB/s with my onboard USB2.0. It's certainly not the touted speeds of interface manufacturer but definitely superior to my USB2.0. I need to get a good case to use for transporting this drive now. Will update this review after several months of usage.

Great SSD! I just received it today with enclosure and installed OSX via USB3.0. I made it as my primary drive and installed apps to it. Opening the applications is super fast.

This USB adapter is essential and seems to work well with all my USBs. A very secure, hard-snap, connection that isn't likely to accidentally disconnect.
