A great backup drive to have as security. You never know when a drive will fail and crash so this large WD drive protects me.

Needed a power backup for my security system. I have the 1500 and the 700 unit and they both perform reliably whenever power goes out. Some people complain about monitoring software, but I haven't had any issues. Windows automatically detects it as a backup battery or you can install Liebert software for a few more options.

Plenty of space, speed, and security. A good price/value. I'm backing up six computers. It's backup software works great. You don't need other backup software.

This is a great backup. Used for computers, scanners, surveillance and security systems, and other products that you don't want to have to reboot after a power interruption. It provides an uninterrupted power source until the back-up generator kicks in. Has been very reliable. Reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Perfect For My Solar Security IP Cam Who Use Batteries As a Backup.

I had a different unit that served as a surge protector and battery backup for my security cameras. After a few years, the other units battery became faulty and it constantly beeped. I'm using the Passport as my archive backup device between two computers. It's a nice feeling of security. Very portable and solid.
